Where are the nudges? Part of the philosophy of LabCentral’s Funding Innovation Lab is built on the idea of nudges. Where can our systems and rituals and activities in the funding process have baked-in nudges that benefit everyone? In fact, we already have many “baked in” rituals and activities. These defaults just don’t serve everyone equally right now. I don’t think they were designed to exclude either. This week's re STRUCTUR ing article highlighted the many "Faces of Workplace". This SMMA project for Entrada Therapeutics is a great example. The team created a high-quality workplace experience for both the technical and non-technical workers. The strategy was to respect the same workplace criteria while still maintaining the safety boundaries and infrastructure needed for highly technical space. #reSTRUCTURing #workplacedesign

On Monday, we celebrated Systems Biology at PD-value. We celebrated our growing team, new projects, and the contribution we are making to the field. We also acknowledged and emphasized the potential impact on patients lives, although our work is done at the very early stages of drug development. It is important to remember that everything we do, we do for patients together with our clients, even it is sometimes another decade on the line. We enjoyed the drinks and snacks, of course, but more so the time we spent as a team and the quiz game prepared by Lill Eva Johansen with fun science and general knowledge questions. We congratulate the winning team: Anke Kip, Asina G., Csaba Katai, Jeroen Elassaiss-Schaap and Zeyar Mohammed Ali. Celebrating is not just about reveling in success; it is about recognizing the collective efforts and dedication which can be easily overlooked sometimes. Celebrating good things also fosters a positive and vibrant workplace culture, motivates the team, and reinforces the belief that every contribution, big or small, plays a vital role in our shared story. We want to thank all the team members for getting together and being great sports.
