INESC MN is a part of a new project entitled ‘UNLocking Data Content of Organ-On-Chips’ (UNLOOC), this project will develop, optimize, and validate several electronics circuits and system to build OOC-models to replace the need for animal and in-human testing in drug discovery, clinical testing and validation. INESC MN task is to work on the development of an integrated sensing solution based on custom-made thin-film sensors, application specific integrated circuits (ASIC) and microfluidics for monitoring different conditions inside the organ-on-chip chambers. This task will be developed together with INESC-ID and SiliconGate.
