In Canberra today with a power team from the West to represent the WA resources sector at the Nature Positive Inquiry. This is an opportunity for CME to voice concerns and help the Federal Government make informed decisions on the potential adverse impacts of some proposed Nature Positive reforms.   As the only state-based industry association invited to appear, CME is continuing to articulate the risks to jobs and WA’s economy of poor legislative design. Regulatory duplication, inefficient process and lack of consultation are unlikely to deliver better outcomes for business or the environment – which is the key objective of the reforms. via Proactive Latin Resources Limited Managing director, Christopher Gale, discusses the updated Mineral Resource Estimate at the Salinas #Lithium Project in Brazil. The revised estimate, which significantly increases both the overall resource and the JORC confidence levels, stands at 77.7 million tonnes of ore at 1.24% Li2O, reflecting an 11% increase from the previous estimate. The update precedes a definitive feasibility study for the Salinas Project, which is set for release next quarter and expected to positively impact project economics by enhancing cash flow and extending mine life. Deficiencies in 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 - The 2024 report proposed that the exploration phase would constitute the first phase of the company's exploration activities. The NI 43-101 disclosure is based on the progression of mineral properties for a given company. The first work phase has already been completed, and the report 2022 proposed a Phase II. On the ground activities have been focussed on delineating new ounces to add to the Company’s resource inventory and other drilling to facilitate the technical work required to move Crown Prince into production. Environmental surveys and sterilisation drilling have been completed with site layout design well advanced. Geotechnical and hydrogeological drilling is ongoing.
