Prospecting's my driver, follow-ups my putt, Sales game or golf game, it's all in the gut. From first swing to final sale, it's all the same course, Focus, finesse, and a bit of force! I've always believed that sales and golf have a lot in common – both require careful planning, resilience, constant improvement, goal-orientation, and flexibility. 🏌️♂️💼 Just like how you can spend all day losing your ball or missing the "gimmes," sales can be challenging. Just when you're anout to swear you're done with it, that perfect drive or beautiful putt can hook you all over again – and the same goes for closing a sale. ⛳ To excel in both, it takes strategy, persistence, skill development, goal-orientation, and adaptability. October was a better month for the U.S. golf industry. Consumables performed well. Unit and dollar sales of balls increased versus 2023. Better weather in the north meant more rounds played. Clubs generally performed well – we saw dollar increases in woods, putters and wedges. Only irons softened versus prior year.
