Simple doesn’t always mean easy. Take making sales calls—it sounds simple, but when you add in constant rejection and the challenge of hitting 75-150+ calls daily, it’s a lot tougher. The same is true in sports, relationships, and nearly every area of life. Nothing worth having comes easy. Success often comes down to the ability to consistently show up; that’s where the line is drawn between good and great. What does running have to do with sales? It's all about endurance. The long game while taking care of the short one. Conquering a 15-mile run in brutal heat teaches you resilience and d preparation much like cold-calling prospects or handling tough objections. The key? Let the conversation flow naturally, just like your pace on a long run. Don't push too hard or fight against the resistance. In today’s scorcher, like many before, I paused every 5-6 miles for a cooldown with an ice-cold washcloth and stayed hydrated. During the week before the run and during. That’s the short game. It’s all about preparing and pacing—whether you’re on the boards running or on the phone calling. #marathonrunner #IRunAndSellNJ #MyTrusted732Realtor

Boxing and Sales: An Unlikely Pair Boxing and sales may seem unrelated, but they share core principles—focus, resilience, and adaptability. Each customer interaction is like a round in the ring; it’s about listening, adjusting, and taking action at the right moment. Boxing has taught me discipline and the mental toughness to handle challenges, while my sales experience sharpens my ability to read situations and respond effectively—whether with a customer or in the ring. Being one of the top salespersons in my company, I’m always learning and improving. How do you think sports can improve your approach to sales?

Once a Monthly Sales Target is shared and the month starts, you are subconsciously forced to choose any one of the 3 sports (selected based on personal opinions) immediately 1. Tennis - played with every point counting meaning every order counts, every deal is important and all steps are made to ensure the deals are closed from day one 2. Football - no urgency and a goal can be scored at any given time meaning a deal will come when it comes but when it does come through is a big deal that can result in a win at any time of the month 3. Basketball - deals count but the last seconds "buzzer beaters" count the most meaning during the month you push for minor deals and try to continue with the deals however the last 3 to 5 days of the month are the most important and you try to get the biggest deals right at the end Positive as a salesperson you have found your sport and how you approach sales, the winner is the individual that incorporates all three sports 1. They approach each deal with focus 2. They never forget that a deal can seal the month at any given time 3. and if all else fails they have a back up plan to beat the buzzer #salesinsports

Golf swings in the morning, sales calls in the noon, Chasing those targets, we'll sink 'em soon! Pitching on the green, closing on a call, Whether it's birdies or deals, I aim to have it all. Prospecting's my driver, follow-ups my putt, Sales game or golf game, it's all in the gut. From first swing to final sale, it's all the same course, Focus, finesse, and a bit of force! Fairways or revenue, we'll conquer the lot, With each hole-in-one, and every sale we've got. (From now on I'm always going to wet the mat at the range. It doesn't help with your ball striking, but it looks great on the videos) #SalesGoals #GolfHumour #AchieveTargets

⁉ Best time of the season ⁉ International Break. Your working in sales and you think it is a brilliant time to get in touch or reconnect with clubs, as they have more time? No! Because: They are busy analyzing the past weeks. They are busy preparing the next weeks. They try to get a few days off. Just because you think it is a good timing, it does not mean it has to be. Make sure you understand the system your market is operating in. Be empathic and patient - it will pay off on the long run for sure! For me there is no best or worst time of the season in general, as it strongly depends on the individual. If you have build a good relationship you will know when can reach out and when you should not reach out. #soccer #football #sales #relationship Find the Problem. Solve the Problem.

Prioritization is crucial! Teaching new sales professionals to dedicate an hour daily to prospecting is key. Applying this principle, I schedule my outdoor workout daily like a recurring meeting during these summer months. My goal for July is 10K steps a day, and I'm carrying it into August! #letsgo #weightedvest #stronger
