🌍 How can #TransversalSkills make a significant impact in the field of #VETEducation? This is the question that the VETCompass: VET Teachers' Transversal Skills Competence Assessment System project places at the center of its objectives. 💥 Recently launched by the European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB), #VetCompass is a pioneering project in addressing the critical gap in #VocationalEducationandTraining (VET) about the use and deployment of #softskills. 💼 It focuses on the one hand on the essential skills needed for VET Teachers/Trainers/Staff to prepare students for the evolving labour market, and on the other hand on the VET educators competences’ strengthening through continuous professional development. As partner organization, ENAIP NET is glad to take part in this challenging project in dialogue with the European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB), BK CON from Germany, AKMI International and InnovED from Greece, ST Skills Together from Italy, Momentum Educate + Innovate and I&F from Ireland. 📅 The next step will be the kick-off meeting to be held on January 16 & 17, 2024 in Brussels. We will begin to discuss what kind of tools and resources need to be developed so that #transversalskills #Assessmentsystem of European VET Teacher's Transversal Skills #VETattractiveness #VETprofessionaldevelopment have a real impact. ACADEMIC WRITTING REFLECTION On 25 December 2023, one of my course PPD1041 Softskills and Basic Volunteerism has given a task for academic writting. We have to follow the conference template to do our report. Then, we are asked to submit the report to Turnitin. The purpose is to let us how to use turnitin to check the percentage of similarity. From this task, I also learnt how to do a correct report and also how to use turnitin to check the similarity.
