As a fellow book coach, your ADVICE is spot on. So many people "wing it" with out a plan or a goal with their books. They have the "I need to write a book" mentality. Thanks for bringing voice to this important step.

Love seeing you in Paris! One of the reasons I would like to write a book is to have a reason to tap into the social capital with my network and elevate the visibility of my message by having them excited to support me. At least....that's the hope.

Jane Tabachnick great tips, setting goals are so important and helps you to navigate along the way, ensuring you know where you are in the process. Love the blue scarf, Paris!!

What a great point. I can't image going to Paris without some plans! Thanks for sharing Paris with us. You are right there is a big myth that a person just sits down and write. That approach makes really big messes.

I am dreaming about getting back to Paris! We definitely need goals before writing... (I learned the hard way). Thanks.

Jane, your video hits the nail on the head! Setting author goals early is key. Personally, my aim in writing a book is to empower underserved small businesses without the means for coaching services. Providing a self-help guide tailored to winning contracts and navigating GovCon across local, state, and federal agencies is my mission. Your insights reaffirm the importance of such endeavors. Thank you for the inspiration!

Jane-your video really resonates with my philosophy of 'getting out of your own way'. Setting clear author goals early can indeed be a game-changer, much like planning a trip to Paris. It's all about working with clarity and focus, isn't it?
