Today we published results for the 2022/23 financial year, demonstrating strong net sales growth of +11% across our portfolio of Irish whiskeys. This was primarily driven by Jameson, now a top 3 selling international whiskey brand, which achieved net sales growth of +10% globally. Our prestige portfolio, which is comprised of Redbreast, Midleton Very Rare, Spot Whiskeys, Method and Madness and Knappogue Castle experienced +22% net sales growth while Powers continued to attract new consumers recording net sales growth of +18%, primarily driven by the US market. The notable growth of Jameson in Asian markets (+56%), including India, China, South Korea, and Japan reflects the continued globalisation of the Jameson brand and a growing affinity for Irish whiskey among consumers. These results demonstrate the success of our business strategy to diversify Jameson and our prestige portfolio, with more consumers around the world getting to know and love our portfolio of Irish whiskeys. https://lnkd.in/eKGVYPVm #IrishWhiskey 

I believe Ready-to-drink (RTD) alcoholic beverages will have a promising future. These products offer convenience and consistency in terms of flavor, making them attractive to consumers who want an easy way to enjoy mixed drinks without the hassle of measuring ingredients. Looking forward to getting ready to drink cocktails to come to India specially for Limca Absolut cocktail. It is a less common cocktail compared to some other vodka-based mixed drinks. Limca is a lemon-lime soda, and when mixed with vodka, it creates a sweet and citrusy beverage which I believe will be liked by the Indian market. The Coca-Cola Company Pernod Ricard

Interesting development and collaboration in a sector of the market that is attracting a lot of attention at present.

In the post pandemic world, once conservative brands have become significantly more daring in their willingness to license into once forbidden categories. Coca Cola is now licensing for spirits and Disney has licensed ESPN for sports betting. In the near future, when someone writes the history of licensing, Covid 19 will be seen as a major disruptor for brand licensing. As consumers look to tried and true brands they trust, smart brands extended their reach into new more daring categories.
