Too many people are miserable in their roles.
It's no secret that countless individuals find themselves stuck in jobs or careers that leave them feeling unfulfilled.
They choose to cling to a paycheck rather than true passion.
The fear of change is real and powerful.
However, that didn't stop Samantha Kozuch from leaving the so-thought dreams of med school for something else.
How did things turn out for her?

One of the things I appreciate most about Thrive is that our team truly gets it. We’ve walked the same path, faced the same struggles, and found freedom through the Sinclair Method. There’s something so powerful about getting support from people who’ve been where you are—and are now living proof that real change is possible. 💙 You're not alone on this journey, and we're here to help every step of the way! 'Every time someone steps up and says who they are, the world becomes a better, more interesting place.'
I write a lot about worthy issues of language learning, teaching, education, and development, and a lot of it is linked to this idea. Incremental increases in the ability to tell our story, or to understand others, and the confidence and empathy to speak and to listen, are incremental decreases in the risk of conflict and misunderstanding. It was also highlighted in last weeks LinkedIn#impactsummit.
BUT this quote is actually a gem from a mass-market #TV#sitcom, and thats the main point of this post. One fan of #Brooklyn99 talking to other fans, and recommending the show to everybody who isn't a fan. I solidly think this is the FUNNIEST AND BEST SITCOM of the last ten years, as well as being a consistently thoughtful portrayal of #diversity, #difference, and #acceptance. If you're looking for a new watch, give it a try, if you already think its great, say why in the comments.
More importantly, though, if you have an identity, or a struggle, that is difficult to talk about, or if you come across others who are telling us about who they are, maybe think about telling the story, and definitely think about listening. We'll all be better off for it.
Back to the fans, here are the much mourned #AndreBraugher and and the amazing #StephanieBeatriz.

Breaking the Cycle of Corporate Pandering: Make a Genuine Social Impact
Last week, Jon Stewart delivered a powerful critique on The Daily Show about the superficial nature of corporate Pride campaigns. Highlighting examples of hollow gestures from major brands, Stewart called for a shift towards authenticity and transparency.
At ScaleWith this we couldn’t agree more. Our mission is to help companies move beyond performative allyship and make real, lasting contributions to social causes. It’s time for corporations to stop the cycle of pandering and start making genuine impacts that benefit communities and align with their core values.
Here are three key takeaways from Stewart’s commentary that resonate with our approach:
1. Authenticity Matters: Customers and employees can see through superficial gestures. Real impact comes from consistent, genuine efforts.
2. Long-Term Commitment: Support should extend beyond high-visibility periods. Sustained contributions are crucial for meaningful change.
3. Transparency and Accountability: Companies must be transparent about their efforts and outcomes, ensuring they remain accountable to their commitments.
At ScaleWith, our tools are designed to help businesses track and report their social contributions, making it easier to maintain authenticity and accountability.
Let’s make corporate social responsibility more than just a marketing tactic. Together, we can make a real difference that’s profitable and purposeful.

How do we get more young people attracted to a career in social care?
Well done Lee Gilbert, at Nourish Care 👏 for making this film. It's well worth watching, if you work in, or with care.
Or even, if you're worried about the future, for yourself, or others. With more places like this, with great carers, and enabled by good tech, we needn't worry.
If this is a question you'd like to discuss, to develop local and national solutions, I'd love to hear from you.
Or connect with me, follow me, here. 🔔
What's working for you, in your area, that you could share?
We're talking about it. More to follow.

🫂 Maybe there is a better way to collaborate? What if you had a platform that seamlessly enabled the exchange of knowledge for free?
(There are many passionate about this, and they've missed this post, because we're not connected, or they aren't on LinkedIn, or you missed the WhatsApp message)
🫂 Sharing and developing ideas to create transformative change?
(We know around the country great ideas are exchanged, in small groups, during meetings. What if this could be done, between meetings too. Keeping the energy going?)
🫂 A platform to facilitate widespread debate on known issues, as well as begin to incubate seeds?
(Using the data from your profile, to match you to likeminded interests, passion, and energy, at a local and high-level, so you don't miss out)
🫂 A democratised community of diverse people, from across the nation, no longer hearing, "we'll only listen to people at the same level as us".
(The solutions are within. Everyone has potency. Everyone has known and hidden value. We are wasting what we have. Let's stop this now.)
