In 2019, I was lost.
Nothing I was doing with my list was turning into sales.
After 6 months, spending way too much time on social media to bring more people onto my list. The issue was, these too weren't buying.
Was it me?
Was it my offers?
Honestly, I hated the social media hamster wheel I was on just to grow the list.
In 2020, I decided to engage deeper with my list by asking them a few questions about who they were and what they thought I could help them with.
That June, I wrote a short, 4-question survey asking new subscribers a few simple, easy-to-answer, multiple choice questions. I wanted to attract online business owners who I could help with my new service, Book A Day.
Within a few weeks, I had steadily booked 3-5 of these per month.
As a side effect, I noticed there was a small piece of the subscribers interested in learning how to write more emails, something I didn’t do, but I could be an affiliate for.
After about 4 months, I generated almost $1700 in net commissions from a <$50 course I promoted that taught people how to write more emails.
I had landed a new revenue stream I NEVER had and I didn’t even need to maintain or deliver to the customer.
This work even better for my own products.
This past March/April I re-launched Creator Quick Start to a segment of just 208 subscribers and generated $8129. That's $39 per subscriber on that segment.
Isn’t that awesome?
I’ve had my survey running, relatively unchanged, and on auto-pilot since 2020 that has told me about thousands of subscribers that I allows me to focus on improving connections with them, enhancing email marketing effectiveness, and identify valuable leads.
I call this a "Subscriber Sorter," and I'd sleep better if you had one too.
So, in a couple weeks, I'm hosting a live 5-day bootcamp to put that sorter into your business so you build an engaged list and grow your business while you go do something fun...
Like spending time with your kids.
Like have a lunch date with your partner.
Like binging Netflix.
Like creating a new service that you want to use to help more people.
Y'know...whatever floats your boat.
