Before the end of Q2, I want to hurry up with the news from the previous quarter. I was honored to be named the Marketing Team’s Key Player of Q1!   Screenshot with my grateful, happy face, eagerly awaiting this post for almost 3 months 😁 🎉 This recognition has truly inspired me, and it got me thinking about the power of appreciation. Our recent launch of the internal recognition hub really highlighted how important it is to foster motivation and a positive culture among the team. Creating a culture of recognition isn’t just a checkbox for the Employer Brand; it’s an integral part of a thriving team where everyone benefits: ✔ The company gains a high-performing, loyal workforce. ✔ Team experiences a boost in motivation and job satisfaction. So, here’s a little reminder for all of us: don’t wait until the end of a project to give props. Celebrate those small wins too!

Y'all voted and let me know that everyone wants to learn more about working at Hugging Face, so let's start by talking about one of the reasons WHY we are one of the Best Places to Work 🤗 We communicate differently. Typically, companies manage their external messaging through a select few in the C-suite, aiming for a tightly controlled narrative. At Hugging Face, we've literally flipped that idea upside down. We empower every team member to share openly and publicly, drawing on their unique areas of expertise. Our founders are aware of their strengths (Julien, for example, has exquisite taste in couches), but also acknowledge they're not experts in everything. Not only does this allow us to showcase and celebrate the wins and contributions of every team member but it is also an inherently inclusive approach that supports inputs from varied backgrounds and identities. As Brigitte aptly put it, "our impact is driven by a diversity of voices." When we really listen to and appreciate everyone's input, we make our community stronger and more innovative. This inclusive, open communication culture is one of the aspects I'm most proud of at Hugging Face 🤗

Focus on the behaviours and the objectives will follow. Before he heads out for a balmy weekend, wanted to congratulate Gary Brown for his much deserved recognition within our Circle of Excellence programme. It's our version of #presidentsclub and only the very best performers are eligible. Gary's success is as a result of maintaining three core behaviours: exceptional internal networking, tirelessly supporting his team to succeed, and a continual customer centric attitude. -------------- I first learnt the above lesson from Paul Abbott. He was presenting at an employee development session and his message was clear. Over deliver on your #competencies. Sometimes, objectives are difficult to close. That's the reality. Especially when there are increasing dependencies and/or resource allocation challenges. But you can control your behaviours. Focus on those and in time, the results will follow. #salesexcellence #salesleadership #sales

As we celebrate our journey together, both personally and professionally, I’m constantly reminded of the strength that comes from mutual support.   💪 Mutual Support in Sales:   • Shared Challenges and Victories: Every day, we navigate the highs and lows together, always backing each other with positivity.   • Recognition at QBRs: Last week, during our QBRs, I made sure to recognize each member of our SAS team on every account slide. Their insights and dedication are indispensable.   💡 Lessons in Collaboration: • Value of Collaboration: It's not about being the smartest person in the room but being the most collaborative and open to all ideas.   • Power of Vulnerability: This process has reminded me the importance of vulnerability- both personally and professionally.  Whether it’s sharing feedback at work or trying not to laugh in engagement photos, being vulnerable is key! 😅   🟢 Show Appreciation: • For Your Partner: Take a moment to appreciate the support from your significant other and those close to you who make you better every day.   • For Your Team: Recognize the dedication and hard work of your colleagues everyday.   Let’s continue to celebrate and support each other every step of the way.   #Teamwork
