This study, in collaboration with Capex and FDC de Argentina, encompasses fluid PVT tests and numerical simulation production forecasts. An Arxada energy customer faced a significant challenge in the Permian Basin: an oil and gas production field with sour production of 70-80 ppm H2S. The goal was to bring this down to less than 4 ppm H2S, the typical specification for sales gas lines. Turboscav™ GT, our latest innovation in H2S scavengers, was applied to treat the H2S problem cost-effectively, while eliminating the drawbacks of the incumbent scavenger: terrible odor and scaling (plus additional costs) stemming from its high pH. After application via a two-pronged approach - downhole and direct gas injection - Turboscav™ GT achieved the following results: • H2S levels as low as 0.1 ppm - well below the maximum allowed H2S level! • ~10% savings by eliminating the need for a scale inhibitor Turboscav™ GT also showed additional advantages over the incumbent technology. Last week FDC de Argentina conducted a workshop focused on Unconventional Workflow Integration using KAPPA Engineering softwares and Dash Energy along with distinguished professionals from YPF SA. 📊 During the training, attendants conducted a detailed benchmark of the La Amarga Chica area versus Bajada del Palo Oeste: ➢ Completion and production statistics for all the wells in Bajada del Palo Oeste were carried out. As an extremely exothermic reaction, the methanation of hydrogen and carbon monoxide/ dioxide requires significant heat resistance from both the reactor and the catalyst. The SNG gas mixture can be used in burners as a direct alternative to natural gas, without the need for reconfiguration or replacement of burners. The SNG Blender (or LPG Air Mixer) is a system where LPG and air are automatically mixed under high pressure in appropriate proportions, creating synthetic natural gas (SNG) with properties similar to natural gas at the output.
