Empower Baino Because Baino Empowers: Empowerment is more than a word; it's a transformative force that drives change within communities and individuals. In our services, empowerment means building the foundation for sustainable development. It's about giving people the tools, knowledge and opportunities they need to lift themselves out of poverty, break the cycle of illiteracy and build a better future. Imagine a community where children, who once walked miles barefoot to access a dilapidated school, now have access to quality education, resources, and a supportive environment that nurtures their dreams. This change doesn’t happen overnight—it’s the result of giving those children and their families with the skills, resources, and confidence to seize opportunities. At its core, empowerment is about creating lasting impact by ensuring that people have the tools to make informed decisions, advocate for themselves, and contribute meaningfully to society. It's about building resilience and self-reliance so that the change we make today will continue to grow and multiply for generations to come. #charity #nonprofit #support #Giveback #donate #Africa #Empower #Girlchild

Exciting stuff coming out of Justice Funders lately! 🌏 A newly revised Resonance Framework shows how mainstream philanthropy can transform in support of a healthy, just economy and society. The co-facilitators of the JEDI Accelerator for Foundations (Hanifa Kassam, Tania Cheng and myself; hosted by Philanthropic Foundations Canada / Fondations philanthropiques Canada) have used this tool to help foundation board members and staff reflect and take action. The new version captures how foundations can funders can stop the bad, build the new and change the rules. ✊ https://lnkd.in/eAdiP5ca 💡 A new Liberatory Governance Community of Practice. Specifically for staff and board members working in philanthropic institutions. Running May 2024-March 2025. I'd totally do this if I could! Founder & NPO Guru | Helping Visionary Non-Profits in the Educational, Environmental and Socio-Economic, sectors to get funded and thrive | Secured over 25 million dollars in funding | 35+ years of experience
You might know the impact that your nonprofit has on the community, but donors don’t. A common mistake is using vague stats. Don’t let this mistake derail your mission. Avoid fluffy generalities like "significant impact" or "improved lives." Be specific and measurable! E.g. Increased literacy by 20% rate for children from low income families in Grades 1-3 in Katlehong, Johannesburg. #nonprofitssouthafrica #nonprofitexperts #fundingexperts

Our mission is our north star to guide all our actions and decisions. Here it is; Baino Social Impact is a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating the three significant problems of illiteracy, poverty, and poor health in the most impoverished communities in Uganda and creating a lasting impact for generations through collaborative planning, community action and policy advocacy. While Africa is considered the poorest continent in the world, particularly Sub-Saharan Africa, and is home to the world's poorest countries, one region in Uganda is more impoverished than any other: the Busoga region. We want to focus our efforts where these problems are extreme. It is indeed humbling to be considered the poorest of the poor in a poverty-stricken area in Sub-Saharan Africa. It is necessary, therefore, to take severe action. We will need your help. Learn more & Support the cause: https://lnkd.in/ghsz_YvX #Donate #grant #empowerment #Bainosocialimpact #charitysupport
