Last week, our Lennar Atlanta team came together for an unforgettable Team Building Field Day! We kicked off the day by grabbing our custom t-shirts and forming teams, then jumped right into a series of engaging activities that brought out the best in everyone. After a well-deserved lunch, we celebrated with an awards ceremony, recognizing the outstanding teamwork and effort that made the day so special. It was a fantastic opportunity to step away from our usual routines, strengthen our connections, and create lasting memories. Proud to be part of such an amazing team! 🏆👕🤝
Sr. Executive Coach and Strategist at Transcend | A dynamic relationship builder passionate about maximizing and engaging talent throughout organizations
Sometimes just taking a deep breath and engaging in our playful sides is exactly what we need to reset and reengage in news ways in the business. Love this reminder Hayley that laughter, creativity, teamwork, and play can have a significant impact on our connections and our joy.

One of Transcend's team commitments is "Joy," and I truly experienced that during our Tri-annual meeting earlier this month. Jaci, Kevin, and Mike organized a scavenger hunt that included rollerblading, a gondola ride over Spokane Falls, and a merry-go-round ride - and those were just the first three stops!
It was a fantastic reminder to embrace joy in everything we do… which is even sweeter when your team wins the competition! Special shout-out to Craig, Makenzie, and Kevin for that. 🥇
Here’s to more fun and memorable moments.
Through my journey so far, I was fortunate enough to work closely with colleagues on the same goals and personal growth.
The disbalance between employee benefits was something I have struggled to bring to everyone in the team in the companies I've worked with.
That is why I want to bring this to as many companies, with the goal of unified employee benefits across companies.

How many tips can we squeeze in one tip? I did my best :) Because as a group psychotherapist, I know how groups have everything that their members need. We are all auxiliary egos for each other, and the question is: Can we play together?
Thanks to Dr. Franz for having me in this episode. I always learn a lot from Tim, and I think the way we collaborate or co-create each time is a great example of how our strengths and weaknesses come together to achieve our superordinate goals as a team 😍

Another week of Making Team Projects Work with Lauren Vicker. This week's team tip is from Ozge Kantas Yorulmazlar, Ph.D., CP, PAT, a colleague within my department at St. John Fisher University. Her tip is about how to utilize all the different perspectives within a team, because a team "has everything in it" to succeed!
Director of Engineering at CodeSignal. I manage the Content and Content Tolling for this AI-first technology learning platform. See more at learn.codesignal.com.
I’m finishing my 4th week at CodeSignal and it’s been a whirlwind of new people, ideas, and culture. I’m traveling home from my first onsite with them and I’d like to reflect a bit on what brought me here.
Back in 2013, web development was seeing a bit of a revolution as we moved from static, back-end, technologies to heavy front-end focused “Single Page Applications” (SPAs). My good friend Dennis Burton and I were doing a lot with these budding technologies and trying to figure out a fun and exciting way to teach the concept to others.
We came up with a full-day CodeMash Conference workshop (hundreds of learners) with an accompanying application called Choose Your Own Application. It took inspiration from the well-loved childhood book series to let the learner make choices as they built a full-blown application. The learner was given the opportunity to choose their frontend framework (Backbone or Knockout… it was 2013), their language (JavaScript or CoffeeScript… see 2013), their backend framework (Node.js, Rails, or ASP.NET), and their deployment platform (Heroku or Azure). There were dozens of permutations. It was a LOT of content. A LOT to test.
The experience was VERY well received. I was so honored and humbled by the number of people who learned that day. After it was done, we asked: can we scale this to other content paths? We laughed it off and said “nah, that was fun but it would be too much work”.
If you know me, I get my energy from helping other people learn things. That’s why I joined Khan Academy and stayed with them for 8 years. Ultimately, it’s what led me to take the Director of Content and Content Platform at CodeSignal. Although it’s not _exactly_ the same thing, I’m a part of a team now that is scaling the ideas behind Choose Your Own Application.
CodeSignal Learn (https://lnkd.in/gXHuMEKQ) is the most innovative technical learning platform I’ve seen yet. We’re developing content at a VERY fast pace and we will for a very long time. Unlike static video or blog-base learning, we have a PRACTICE-based platform with an AI teacher/tutor named Cosmo (a space corgi!). It’s all about mastery-based learning inside the browser IDE and Cosmo guiding you the entire way. The entire experience is in a single place.
I have only been here 4 weeks and I’m already extremely proud of what we’re building. Watch this space. We have some amazing content coming your way.
We had a great time this week in Denver, CO! ✨
The week was filled with insightful sessions, thought-provoking discussions, and amazing cross-team collaboration 🎉 We're looking forward to what's next!
All of these Psychologists have certainly made important contributions. But using citation metrics to rank "Top" scientists ignores the many other ways that scientists contribute to or harm scientific progress.
As we've recently seen in various fraud and questionnable research practice investigations in the behavioral sciences, some scientists may look astounding on a limited number of dimensions such as citations or publications, but pollute the scientific literature with unreliable research or as toxic mentors and colleagues.
By focusing on individual achievements, such metrics incentivize scientists to do whatever is best for their careers, regardless of what is best for science. We need to move towards a system when scientists are rewarded or punished for their entire range of contributions to science, not just their individual achievements.

CEO at D’Ieteren, for a seamless and sustainable mobility
This week, we hosted a virtual all-staff meeting at D'Ieteren, and I couldn't be more proud of the incredible teamwork and engagement from everyone involved.
10 of our talented colleagues took the stage, while another 10 worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly.
We spent an hour discussing key topics and answering live questions from our colleagues. It was truly inspiring to see hundreds of you online, actively participating and sharing your thoughts.
This event was a fantastic way to wrap up the first semester of the year, and it's clear that this won't be the last time we come together like this.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible and to all who joined us. Here's to many more successful and collaborative sessions ahead!
One of the biggest struggles businesses have faced since the pandemic is providing a clear reason for teams to physically get together.
