This cookie-cutter way in which we are enabling our workplaces needs to stop. It isn’t working. The people in positions to lead are either over-stretched, underdeveloped, or unfit. The environments in which we are pushing people to perform are increasingly unbearable. The spreading exposure of workplace malpractice that evidence cultural toxicity is unprecedented. The public trust in our organizations and institutions is dramatically eroded. We need a better way - a forward-looking way. Because the path of our Humanity is evolving. It’s a path of surviving and thriving that has become a global forcefield. And companies will continue to exist. And people will continue to have dreams, and goals, and aspirations to self-actualize. And we need people to believe again. In the companies they work for. In the leaders they look up to. In their own potential to lead. In the products and services they consume. In the world we live in. 💙 #believeagain #healthyworkplaces #dignitymatters #humanityfirst
We so badly need to people to believe again, and treating them well is the first step. Raising them up, supporting them, offering them guidance.
Thank you, Lindsay Ruiz, EdD for speaking out on this very important issue.

8moI had an amazing coversation today with Jean Lemmey about this, amongst other things. Lindsay Ruiz, EdD if you and Jean don't know each other you definitely should. PS. It reminded me of my one of my favorite quotes, "I am not what I think I am, I am not what you think I am, I am what I think you think I am." Happy Monday. 😊
