This cookie-cutter way in which we are enabling our workplaces needs to stop.
It isn’t working.
The people in positions to lead are either over-stretched, underdeveloped, or unfit.
The environments in which we are pushing people to perform are increasingly unbearable.
The spreading exposure of workplace malpractice that evidence cultural toxicity is unprecedented.
The public trust in our organizations and institutions is dramatically eroded.
We need a better way - a forward-looking way.
Because the path of our Humanity is evolving.
It’s a path of surviving and thriving that has become a global forcefield.
And companies will continue to exist.
And people will continue to have dreams, and goals, and aspirations to self-actualize.
And we need people to believe again.

This is very true. Over-worked staff can present the most risk, as not only does this effect their emotional well-being, empathy and motivation; those skilled workers you rely on may start making unforced errors from fatigue and mental exhaustion. Depending on the industry, this can expose your company to liabilities which could have major financial impact.

Mutual #trust & #transparency (& #respect ) are essential for a good employee/employer relationship✅. For any relationship—because life is all about relationships with one another🌎.
“Relationship”—> “Relate”. Google “Relate”.
Also, Google: “Relative”🙂.
Without these, there is no business. There is no #community. You can’t take the “person” out of business— because you are dealing with a person. A #human . Thusly, a huge indicator of company success is #emotionalIntelligence (EQ).
So in this way, no matter where you are in the corporate ladder, we all have this (& SOMETHING) in common lol.
I’ve been observing/studying human behavior for many years now. It’s incredibly interesting to converse and & write about. #dataAnalysis is what I do everyday as a #scientist👨🏾🔬. #Observe an issue/problem, make a #hypothesis , get data, make a conclusion (& sometimes, receive backlash 😂🤷🏾♂️lol). The data is the data so I know backlash will subside over time with #patience lol. Emotions don’t rule over facts.
Things are what they are💯. We need to always look at the #reality of the data to be #correct & solve problems✅🙂.

I’ve already posted multiple times about my hypothesis that people have forgotten social skills because of the effects of the brain during COVID. You probably won’t really have much data on this until another 3 to 5 years but it’s important to keep in mind.
Isolation breaks people—this is common knowledge. It’s why “solitary confinement” is one of the most traumatic experiences that a human can experience. Go ahead: watch a YouTube video on solitary confinement and how it affects the psyche.
Spend time alone on Mars…
This is why #community is so important for all of us, rather than being #cliquish .
One of my best friends always says when we talk that: “Community includes ‘unity’ “🙂✅.
I inquire with people on the daily basis about work environments/life (from CEOs, employers & employees) & from what I see here on LinkedIn since a little before the pandemic, we need to improve this specific type of relationship if we are to get things done💯.
Trust.
Transparency.
Respect.
Let’s all google those definitions today. No let’s really—do it🙂✅. No need to have perfection, we are all a work in progress but we all know what we all can do better. Everyone already talks about it—so it’s no secret.
That’s #transparency 🙂.
Treat your employees/employer just as good as you would treat your #client. No one can expect what they cannot give💯.
All of us have #family and #communities that we are a part of, that treat us as such.
Everyone matters🌎. If someone doesn’t agree with this statement, then it’s probably because they feel they don’t matter.
And that’s one of the reasons why I wrote this post. Let’s improve #morale 💪🏾. #backToTheBasics
