What’s your dream workspace? Some businesses in Singapore are offering unconventional co-working spaces that combine work and play, reports The Straits Times. One of them is a hair salon that lets customers enjoy various pampering services, such as head and eye massages, sound therapy, high tea and hair treatment, while working in a private room. However, journalist Sue-Ann Cheow notes that this may not be ideal for those who need long stretches of uninterrupted work time. Another option is a cat cafe that allows customers to work in the company of feline friends. The cafe also has leisure and recreation rooms where customers can take a break and sing karaoke, among other activities. How do you feel about working in such unusual environments? I haven't worked with a cat in a professional job that pays but from experience, a cat like the one I have at my house a black one with a lot of scars that bit and scratched me helped in my endeavor to organize my roof top, I did it for my cat I cleaned a lot, I guess that because Cats have high standards of cleanliness and I loved my cat I felt motivated to clean more, I also became calmer and didn't lash out on people because I didn't want my cat to lash out on me, I set an example for him even if he wasnt that clean and then I he would let me carry him and stuff and his scratches and bites weren't too strong anymore, so I think adding cats in the workplace can be a great idea, but you would have to be able to match the right person and the right cat, so I think it would depend on them, although I belive I could work with any cat because I'm pretty good with any type of animal, I think It would be easiest to apply this in a workplace if you would Interview the person and let them choose a cat to be interviewed with them, it would also be really cute and could motivate people to invest on such an interesting startup as curiosity (from fear 1 of the 3 main things that drive motivation comes from) is a natural eye catcher but T.C.
