Helping the top 1% level up their personal brand: Best-selling author/ Public speaker/ copywriter/ brand poet/ Wit/ Neurodivergent
🍷Pernod Ricard said: " We need an evergreen asset which will subtly reinforce Jamesons whiskey's brand values to design-conscious 30-something professionals. 💰Here's £2 million." My boss: "Alex, any ideas?" 3 months later & Libertine London launches Worlds Best Bars. -> I write 90 % of the reviews ->I devise the strategy In 3 months it becomes the UK's no. 1 luxury bar website. It would remain in the top position for 10 years. ✅️Billions of unique visitors ✅️Jameson sold 48 million bottles in 2023 ✅️Pernod Ricard remains the leading spirit distiller in the world. How did I do it? I think it was down to 2 mainreasons: 1) Despite the fact Pernod owns the site and indeed puts its name on it, I insisted that we remain impartial. 2) I was given free reign to express myself. I could he as witty, irreverent or as poetic as I wanted. (Within reason) Which brings me to today. 👨💼👩💼👔 If you're a CEO, a founder or an agency, I have some good news. I have four slots open for new clients and for a limited time, I am putting myself at your disposal. Ready to craft your own success story? Let's make it happen.

The title for this video is pretty cringeworthy, but I think that the overall message is stellar: Make sure that you're always striving to be as hospitable as you possibly can. Like, to a ridiculous extreme. The argument here is that if two different services are equivalent in almost every way, the differentiator might be how personalized of an experience the consumer is offered. You can't just give just good service - remember that the idea is to go beyond expectation. Leave your consumer with an experience they'll never forget. Any service that's provided can benefit. Restaurants are the example that Will Guidara uses to lay the foundation for the discussion since it's probably what most of us think of when we think of hospitality, but this mentality could easily be applied to how you manage your people, how you interact with your coworkers, how you interact with folks online... you catch my drift. This video is well worth the five minutes it takes to watch. Happy Memorial Day weekend, network! 🇺🇸

The panel discussions at Future Proof continue to be the heartbeat of the event as it makes its way throughout the country. In Adelaide, it was easy to see why they've been attracting attention, with thought-provoking, candid and timely discussions from some industry heavyweights. We covered a lot in each panel, and if you're interested we really recommend watching them back (link below), but if you've only got a few minutes then here were three key things we took out of the panel discussions. 1. Is sustainability a useful, or appropriate term for us to use in our industry? With so many complex and competing factors, is it better to be realistic and say bars are minimal intervention, while striving for sustainability? 2. While sometimes the market may look saturated, there's always a place for a venue that's perfected its craft. 3. Great venues are finding ways to invest in their staff through pathways to grow and finding ways to showcase their unique talents.

Breaking News for the Hospitality and Drinks Industries. Check out our article in The Cocktail Lovers latest issue for details🥂
Co-Founder, The Ada Coleman Project, Trade Advocacy and Brand Consultant & Drinks Industry Specialist
I'm very excited to share my new venture as co-founder of The Ada Coleman Project. Over the last year, my business partner Kristine Bocchino and I have been working hard behind the scenes to put together The Ada Coleman Project, a groundbreaking initiative that is creating a dedicated digital space for women+ in the hospitality and drinks industries. We've recognised the need for women to have access to more support as well as offer a meaningful solution for the lack of representation we see in our wider industry events. Paired with a series of innovative networking sessions and educational workshops, the soon-to-launch website, The Ada Coleman Project will provide links to a wide range of materials, including educational content, health & well-being support, job opportunities, editorial and industry news, all curated to support women+ to provide the knowledge and skills crucial to confidence building and career advancement. One of the other standout features of The Ada Coleman Project will be its comprehensive database of accomplished women in the drinks industry, from various regions, backgrounds and areas of expertise. This database was conceptualised to serve as a crucial tool for event organisers, competition hosts, brand owners, bar show organisers, and establishments looking to diversify their panel of guest speakers, masterclass hosts, competition judges, and guest bartenders. The Ada Coleman Project isn't just a platform, but a movement. With great support, we cannot thank our Board of Advisors enough for helping us through the journey to launch. We still have a bit of a ways to go, finalising the details of our site. So please stay tuned. Personal Brand Builder for CEO's, Speakers, Thought Leaders | Director of Marketing @ SpeakrBrand | In 2024 Alone I’ve Gotten My Clients Over 30 Million Impressions | Writer | World Traveler (30 countries & counting)
"‘Black and white’ means you’re doing your job with competence and efficiency; ‘color’ means you make people feel great about the job you’re doing for them." - Will Guidara, Unreasonable Hospitality Over the last few months, the entire SpeakrBrand team has been reading "Unreasonable Hospitality" by Will Guidara. To describe the impact of the team reading this book as electric would be an understatement. At SpeakrBrand, providing unreasonable hospitality to our clients has become a non-negotiable. This means the level of care, attention, and service we offer goes far beyond what is typically expected or deemed necessary. The SpeakrBrand book club has ignited weekly deep and personal conversations among the team: 👉 How can I go above and beyond for my clients this week? 👉 How can I ensure our clients feel seen, heard, and valued? 👉 What more can I do to ensure we leave our clients better than we found them? And that’s just scratching the surface of the discussions that have been circulating around the SpeakrBrand team over the last few months, and we can’t wait to dive in deeper! For thought leaders especially, we highly recommend reading Unreasonable Hospitality. And if you have read it, what's your biggest takeaway? [Reshared from SpeakrBrand] #UnreasonableHospitality
