It is not enough to do things right this can be a surprise to a few people but it shouldn't. We always look toward how we can do things in the best way we can but there is a crucial question we need to ask are we doing the right thing from the beginning? This question needs to be addressed especially in terms of net zero carbon and using less staff. Here, you can explore the difference between effectiveness and efficiency. While the former questions the need to build the building, the latter represents the right way. Random question I am hoping my network can help me out... How many #StructuralEngineering firms are there in the US? Do you know? My guess is somewhere between 1500-2000. But I am honestly just guessing. In my count, all the big companies' separate office locations don't count - they all would just be 1 company (e.g. Jacobs, Kimley-Horn, AECOM, etc).
