As part of our commitment to giving back to the communities in which we operate, McLaren have launched a new initiative donating repurposed laptops to charities across the UK, with the first donation taking place in the Midlands & North. Twenty repurposed company laptops were donated to the St Helens-based Martin Murray ThinkFAST academy, providing young people with online support to help with their educational development. This new initiative will see approximately 250-400 laptops repurposed and donated annually to chosen charities across the UK with drop-offs including protective equipment alongside the laptops to ensure longevity. Well done guys! This was something that was very well received by the local charity Red Crescent here in Dubai a couple of years back. And from our recent laptop refresh and upgrade exercise we are hopefully nearly in a position where we can donate some more and put them to good use! Keep up the great work!
Urban Heard in Solihull is a fantastic local charity working with young children /teenagers. They would love to be considered as part of this initiative Gary Cramp ,MCIOB great to see larger companies finding new ways to help within our communities. Message me for their contact info

5dA brilliant idea, it is always a shame that so much goes to waste as some companies simply will not repurpose equipment. Once the machine is cleaned and reset then it should be recycled back into the community. Bridgwater & Taunton College
