Our Chalcots Estate project team recently carried out redecoration works for the Swiss Cottage Community Centre as part of our social value commitments. Following a devastating flood, the centre needed a revamp, our project team alongside our supply chain partners Middlesex Ltd and their site team’s willingness to assist, spent two weeks redecorating their main hall, three classrooms, stairway area to the community café, and their hallways, while also carrying out our internal works at the Chalcots Estate. The Swiss Cottage Community Centre provide facilities for recreation, learning and leisure-time for the residents of Swiss Cottage. Contractor Performance Award 2024 One of the key initiatives within our McLaren Midlands and North region is to raise the profile of HSWEA (Health, Safety & Wellbeing, Environment and Assurance) across our projects - particularly within our supply chain. Throughout the year, we’ve closely monitored our supply chain’s performance, tracking results on our Contractor Performance League Table. After our latest end-of-year review, we’re delighted to announce that Murraywood Construction Ltd has been awarded the Supply Chain HSWEA Award for 2024! A huge thank you to Billy Murray MCIOB, Barry Tomney, Mike Walsh, and Kris Wilkinson for joining us at our St Gabriel’s, Manchester Project to receive the award. 👏 Congratulations to Murraywood Construction Ltd on this well-deserved achievement! 👏 Shane Hallam CFIOSH #HSWEA #SupplyChainExcellence #WeareMcLaren
