We’re proud to congratulate our CFO, Jonathan Halkyard, who took over last night as Chairman of the Board at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts As a long-time Board member at The Smith Center, he has a passion for performing arts and knows the importance of supporting the local arts community. Jonathan takes over for Chairman Don Snyder, who served in the role for more than 20 years. At MGM Resorts, we know the power of entertainment and its ability to inspire. We thank Don for his decades of incredible service to Las Vegas in directing and overseeing one of our city’s more prized and prolific institutions of entertainment. We also want to recognize Smith Center CEO Myron Martin and his talented leadership team for their amazing work and ongoing contributions to the community. We wish Jonathan all the best in this new role.

On International Day of Charity, we were proud to share that the MGM Resorts Foundation, funded primarily by our employees, has awarded 133 grants to deserving nonprofit organizations in our communities, totaling more than $3 million.

We are proud to announce today that MGM Resorts and BetMGM are once again partnering with the American Gaming Association (AGA) to promote Responsible Gaming Education Month in September. MGM Resorts and BetMGM will execute their responsible gaming campaign at designated National Football League (NFL) stadiums for the second year, with increased exposure for GameSense. Also, coinciding with RGEM 2024, MGM Resorts is announcing a $440,000 contribution to fund responsible gaming research through the International Center For Responsible Gaming and Kindbridge Research Institute.
