via Stockhead Completion of the first drill hole at the Fundicion target at Firetail Resources' flagship Picha copper project in Peru has identified evidence of a potentially large porphyry mineralised system. Recent channel sampling at the Maricate target has shown a surface geochemical anomaly that includes a sample of 17.6m @ 1.95% #copper, while the Cumbra Coya target sampled 32.85m @ 0.61% copper and 209g/t silver. At the Cobremani target, a sample of 41.6m @1.12% copper and 22.85g/t silver, and a strong geophysical anomaly at ~200m depth was intersected, while Fundicion has chargeable anomalies at depth of up to ~300m. Coverage stock Rimfire Pacific Mining Limited (ASX: RIM) has just commenced a 4,000 metre aircore drilling program at the Murga Scandium Prospect, 70km northwest of Parkes within the highly prospective Lachlan Orogen of central NSW. Scandium is now included in both Australia’s 2023 Critical Minerals List and the United States Geological Survey’s (USGS) 2022 List of 50 mineral commodities critical to the economy and national security of both countries. More broadly, the recent purchase by Rio Tinto of the Owendale Scandium Project (which lies 10km north of Murga and Melrose) for up to $US14 million, highlights growing market interest in Australian scandium projects. The acquisition aligns with Rio Tinto’s strategic goal to grow in materials essential for the low-carbon transition. As the demand for cleaner, lighter, and more durable materials continues to rise, Rio expects the use of scandium to continue to grow along with this demand. The Owendale acquisition also follows the establishment of a dedicated Rio Tinto scandium business unit called Element 21 North. At Murga, scandium occurs within a strongly weathered horizon overlying magnetic ultramafic (pyroxenite) intrusive rocks of the Ordovician-age Murga Intrusive Complex, which are interpreted to be part of a large scale arcuate shaped mafic – ultramafic intrusive complex that has a surface area of ~20 sq km. There is little or no nickel and / or cobalt anomalism associated with the scandium, which is curious given that other scandium occurrences within the area (i.e., RIM’s Melrose prospect and Sunrise Energy Metals’ adjacent Sunrise nickel cobalt scandium deposit) are all associated with elevated levels of nickel and cobalt. Regionally, Murga is just one of several critical minerals prospects (i.e. Melrose, Currajong, Forrest View, and Kars) that lie within a +50km long belt of volcaniclastics, sediments and mafic - ultramafic intrusive units that form a geologically significant large-scale structure called the “Fifield Ultramafic Zone.” #scandium #commodities #resources #exploration #equities

#ASXNews High-Grade Copper-Zinc Intersected at C4 Ahead of Resource Update Alvo Minerals Ltd is pleased to announce diamond drill results from its maiden drill program at C4 Prospect, consistent with Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide mineralisation from the Company’s 100% owned high-grade Palma Cu-Zn VMS Project. • The C4 Prospect is a ‘Brownfields Discovery’ made by Alvo in August 2023, as part of the broader Palma Cu-Zn Project that hosts an existing Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate of 4.6Mt @ 1.0% Cu, 3.9% Zn, 0.4% Pb & 20g/t Ag. • Diamond drilling at C4 has delivered thick and high-grade Zn-Cu intercepts including PD4-092: 9.5m @ 7.5% ZnEq* or 3.1% CuEq from 167m Inc. 3.8m @ 16.0% ZnEq or 6.6% CuEq from 168m. • Results follow discovery hole at C4 of 37m @ 4.6% ZnEq or 1.9% CuEq from 113m (PD4-084). • C4 is open to the west, southwest and northeast, where mineralisation appears closer to surface. • New untested VMS target located 300m NE of C4 identified and progressing towards drill-testing. • A Maiden MRE is being prepared for C4, expected to be reported in combination with an updated MRE for the C1 and C3 deposits in Q2 CY2024. Regional Exploration Work Identifies New Targets for Copper and Nickel Mineralisation While the Oval Cu-Ni Prospect exploration program is continuing the Company has recently received results from geophysical exploration programs, ground mapping, and sampling. The exploration has identified four additional exploration targets in the Yambat (Cu-Ni) Project.   The Oval Prospect drilling program totals 2,500m with approximately 1320m of this program now completed. Results for this program will be announced when assays come to hand.   The Geophysical Studies and subsequent groundproofing have confirmed:   Indication of broader magmatic copper-nickel system beyond Oval Cu-Ni prospect with:  a new outcrop of mineralized gabbro containing sulfide blebs being identified at the South Zone, 1.7km to Southeast from Oval mineralized gabbro. - An expansion of the previously reported Ni-Cu mineralized gabbro outcrop at the North Oval area. This expansion indicates a significant NW extension of the main Oval Ni-Cu mineralization.   A discovery of copper-gold mineralization in the northern part of the tenement was made following detailed mapping of an area 7 kms to the north of the Oval Prospect. Pan Global Resources Inc. (TSX.V: PGZ I OTCQX: PGZFF)) Escacena Project continues to deliver value-enhancing results with news today that the Company has intersected 1.6% copper over 9.7 meters and confirming continuity of La Romana copper-tin-silver discovery to over 1.4km – and uncovered a new, higher-grade 1%+ copper sector.     Results from nine new drillholes were reported from the discovery in the Company’s 100% owned Escacena Project in the Iberian Pyrite Belt, southern Spain, a prolific polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) district and tier one mining jurisdiction. The significance of these drill results: -      The near surface copper mineralization is extended more than 50m west and is now continuous for a total strike length of 1.4km, remaining open for further expansion along strike to the northwest and down-dip -      A new higher grade (1%+ copper) sector has been identified with grades ranging as high as 7.7% copper over 1.7m. American Rare Earths Limited (ASX:ARR, OTCQB:ARRNF) has generated soil sampling results of up to 6,221 parts per million (ppm) total rare earth oxide (TREO) from the Cowboy State Mine area of the Halleck Creek Rare Earth Element (REE) project in Wyoming, US. Samples represent the potential for high-grade REE mineralisation with a TREO content 64% higher than that considered in current mine planning and a recent scoping study (3,805 ppm TREO), offering an opportunity for a larger, higher-grade REE deposit close to those already established by the company. The newly identified mineralised zone has high potential to add to the recently upgraded mineral resource for the project, which sits at 2.34 billion tonnes at 3,196 ppm TREO at a 1,000 ppm TREO cut-off.
