3x CEO. Led $1B+ in asset acquisitions & growth from 3K to 18K units in third party platform. Led teams of 450+ teammates.
Major props to one of the giants of ResProp Management, Angela Aguilar, celebrating her five-year anniversary with our team! 👉 Angela is a standout leader in so many ways. Most importantly, she’s a servant leader – she’s always hyper-attentive to the needs of the teams she leads, and digs in to help them get the work done – never afraid to dive deep and help push things forward. 💥But Angela is also a fierce competitor. Think about the affect Michael Jordan had on anyone who played on the same court–he elevated everyone’s game. On Michael’s court, you can't just show up and play–you come and give it your ALL. 👉 Same with Angela – when she commits to anything, it instantly motivates the team and suddenly they find a new gear to complete something that was previously unreachable. It’s a pleasure to work with you Angela – it’s been great fun (with a huge dose of HARD WORK) to build out ResProp with you. Last word here – Angela’s work ethic is unmatched. You literally have to peel her away from her work. This passion is infectious and again, is something that motivates everyone around her. Can’t wait to see what the next 5 years bring us–and while we’re at it, let’s make it 50 more! #workanniversary #leader #FAWOMO

It's always a party at Door No. 3! Hat tip for celebrating 30 years in business. I'm grateful to be part of writing this current chapter. From a new business perspective, it's no small feat to grow an agency. For 30 years, no less. Striking the right balance of growth is a delicate dance. Providing excellent care for your existing clients while running ahead to cultivate new clients. Building a sticky culture where top talent wants to stay while creating demand to grow the bench. Marketing for others, while also marketing for yourself. Staying heads down in the work while staying up on constantly evolving trends. You get it. Holding all of these tensions is the daily work of growth. It's the daily inputs, those little disciplines that compound over time. Keep at it today!

WOW! 3 years have come and gone in the blink of an eye. It feels like yesterday I jumped feet first into a role that I really didn’t know what to expect. Sure, I had been on the other end of recruiting calls and really didn’t love that part of the experience, to be honest… But, the pandemic had shifted things for me and I decided why not entertain a conversation... and I am SO grateful I did. What interested me most was my conversations with Kim, Laura, Beth, and Katelynn (among others). What they had shared they loved about their career in recruiting thus far just happened to align with a few core values important to me: ✨Connecting with people✨ ▫️ This was a large reason why I left public accounting in the first place, and something I had lost in my yoga/fitness/retail sales journey during the pandemic, and missed greatly. ✨Helping others✨ ▫️ Coming from an accounting background, this holds a special place for me in an effort to ‘match’ organizations with finance and accounting talent they can retain for years to come. From a candidate perspective, the ability to bring opportunities to the table they may not have even known about or that align with what is most important to them in their life today. ✨Emphasis on a team environment and focusing on long-term relationships (versus short-term gains)✨ ▫️ You win some, you lose some’ – one of my favorite quotes and it never feels good to ‘lose’, but with my background in teaching yoga it is an easy one to lean on when you focus on the big picture, focus on nurturing relationships, and focus on the idea that what you put out into the world will return itself to you in dividends. ▫️So for today - no job postings, no market insights, nothing to share here other than an appreciation for Truity Partners, my team, and to those I have had the good fortune to cross paths with along the way… THANK YOU for entertaining my cold calls, for laughing along with me in my voicemails, for getting honest on what's important to you, for your trust, and for so much more to come. Cheers! #gratitude #2024outlook #cheerstoanewyear

Yesterday, I received a gift from a client that deeply touched my heart and reminded me why I love what I do. The thoughtful gesture and kind words from this amazing lady have truly made my week. In our fast-paced world, it's easy to overlook the impact we have on each other. This gift was more than a simple token; it was a testament to the meaningful connections we build with our clients. Her words of appreciation for our work together were a beautiful reminder of the trust and respect we've cultivated. Receiving such a heartfelt gift underscores the importance of human connection in business. It's not just about transactions or projects; it's about understanding, empathy, and mutual respect. Every interaction is an opportunity to make a positive difference in someone's life, and moments like these highlight the true value of our work. How does recognition for your hard work impact your professional well-being? For me, it’s incredibly affirming and motivating. It recharges my passion and drive, reminding me that our efforts do not go unnoticed and that they matter deeply to those we serve. To my incredible client, thank you. Your generosity and kindness have truly inspired me. Let’s all take a moment to appreciate the people around us and the connections we share. These relationships define our professional and personal lives, making every effort worthwhile. Here’s to more meaningful connections and the joy they bring into our lives. How do you feel when you're recognised for your hard work? How does it affect your motivation and overall well-being? Let's continue to support and uplift one another, recognising the profound effects of our work and the bonds we form along the way.
