Creative Event Production for Global Brands & Agencies | Founder at KGA | Carbon Neutral | Your Experiential Delivery Partner
🥅 How do 5,000 Scottish football fans react when they arrive at Kings Cross Station to find ex-England goalkeeper David Seaman ready for a 'beat-the-keeper' challenge? Well, you had to be there really. 🤔 How do experiential events build tangible brand connections❓ In our world, we take the barmy and the bizarre to the contemplative and cerebral and make it a reality. A great example of this was our work with Mischief and Greggs to deliver their ‘Rolls for Goals’ campaign during the Euros as part of a neat partnership with @Just Eat. 👉🏼https://lnkd.in/dB5EGkkm The campaign was a huge success, with thousands of fans seeing the activations and hundreds of sausage rolls being dished out and devoured. This was highly effective creative PR at work. As the creative process can often be effervescent and whimsical, sometimes a gentle steer is required to ensure ideas remain in the realms of possibility and don’t cost the earth. The starting point for the idea is rarely the end state. Great experiential starts here, where the genesis of an idea is to physically bring a brand into people’s lives and build a connection. You can make that world fun, sad or every other emotion in between. But whether serious or light-hearted, the creative decides what connection and experience people will have, and what impression they’ll have with the brand. Long after the event has passed. #experiential #casestudy #experientialmarketing

📣 How brands can embrace their own ‘Kenergy’ for a Summer of Big Events 📣 Hollywood hot property, iconic rockstar cameos and the world’s biggest entertainment show aside, we are shamelessly piggybacking this WTF’ckly awesome moment to share a marketing lesson we took from it... You don’t have to be the 'winner' to steal the show. It got us thinking about the summer of big events looming, complete with their hefty sponsorship packages, and how can brands that aren’t as able to compete on the budget front can still bet on themselves to be cultural champions… Ambush marketing isn’t new news (cue Beats by Dre X Team GB Olympics 2012) but the best examples are still using it to dodge red tape and work wonders on all budgets and formats. 👉 Dominoes Pizza jumped the fence at Glastonbury to deliver freshly baked pizzas to festival goers. 👉 BrewDog Black Heart stout took up residence in Twickenham for the Six Nations, with their Guinness Glass amnesty. 👉 Under Armour installed gyms along Rio’s beaches to tap into the athletic energy at the Olympics. This kind of bold, real world brand behaviour is designed to thrive through social – and is especially appealing to younger audiences. So, can your brand steal the spotlight this summer? We’re game if you are. #MakingBrandsBrighter #Events #Sponsorship #BrandExperience #Stunts #FortuneFavourstheBrave

An advisor to sports leaders // Founder @ Experience Design co. // (re) designing sports experiences // Helping us get more people involved, for longer...
Why focus on 'the holistic experience’ at your club or event? Because it's just like when you invite people around to your place for a BBQ. You don’t leave them on the doorstep or ignore them. You invite them in, offer them something, (re)introduce them, making sure they are connected, comfortable and having fun. We make sure they are involved, we do what they came for. Ideally, they leave happy they came over, giving us all a few things to think and talk about the next day. And don’t forget that before they came you gave them the info and some motivation to come over… 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺, 𝘪𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴, 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘣𝘴, 𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘶𝘦𝘴, 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴. So, when we are setting up an event, a program, or a session, it’s important to consider the breadth and depth of experiences you can offer. Welcoming, involving and connecting people. To do more of something, to feel and belong more, and even to become more. I call them ‘Experiences of Value’ – like an ‘experiential hierarchy of needs’. The functional support, the emotive, social and aspirational. And by offering value from end to end, and on every 'level', we will make people feel good about coming and want to come back for more... #sports #events #communitysport #participation #sportexperience 𝘐’𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳. Sales Account Manager at Topgolf | Provider of seamless event planning & solutions with the game of golf + technology
Did you know? These Topgolf posts are teaching us a very important lesson. Sometimes you don’t need another venue… you just need a few swings, wings, and sips. Topgolf is a 24 year old company and in 2023 opened up several more venues to bring the total to 98 venues globally. Their primary target audience is everyone. In 2021, a popular news publication (you may have heard of the New York Times) wrote about this company and their audience went crazy over it.. causing it to go viral several times. Instead of brushing off this sudden surge in sales from a new and unexpected audience (like many brands do).... Topgolf decided they should go all in on the capabilities of their venues. They launched refreshed menus that were delicious and value-driven (their food is the bomb dot com). Toptracer was introduced as a new way to bring more fun ways to play their games. They did collabs with influencers and other popular brands like Malbon. They created waitlists of thousands of players and sold out every weekend. In 2024, they are projected to open up 10+ new venues and serve hundreds of thousands of new players. Sometimes you can have a winning club in your golf bag... you just need to know when to use it (or drink through it). #Topgolf #LookFamiliar? #StanleyPost #Recycledpost #TopgolfEvents

PhD. CEO | India’s Biggest Trophies & Award Maker | Corporate Gifting | Creating memories for last 85 years | Trophypreneur | 1 LAKH+ lives transformed ! Angel Investor
𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗪𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘀 At 𝗞𝗡 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘀, we understand the powerful motivation that comes from receiving a personalized award. That's why we provide a wide range of high-quality custom trophies. We particularly excel in designing sports trophies. Whether you're coaching a football team or a basketball team, here are some important considerations for presenting trophies. You don't want to hand out trophies without any celebration simply. It's important to ensure players truly feel recognized. When presented with care and creativity, a trophy becomes more than just an award that sits on a shelf; it becomes a cherished keepsake. Add creativity to the award process. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 Instead of merely handing out trophies, turn the awards process into a memorable event. Host a ceremony to present custom trophies to each player. There can be a small gathering on the court with players, their friends, and family. Alternatively, you could organize a more upscale event that will be a lasting memory for your athletes. Rent a space in a nice restaurant, dress up, and make the occasion special for reasons beyond just the trophy itself. 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲 Whether you choose to host a more elaborate event or not, simply handing someone a trophy isn't special enough for your team. Consider each player's unique contributions and write a note acknowledging their efforts. While receiving a trophy is great, personalized recognition from a coach can be an even greater motivator. When your players see that you care, they'll be inspired to work even harder next season. 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 During your ceremony, highlight significant moments from the past season and showcase some of the standout plays from your most valuable players. If you have any funny videos from practices or away games, share those to add a lighthearted touch to the event. Reflecting on the season can remind everyone of their achievements and provide insights on how to improve in the future. Custom trophies and awards are a fantastic way to communicate and reinforce your organization's brand and event positioning, helping to attract more participants to your events. There are numerous types of custom awards you can offer your clients, with almost endless design possibilities.
