What an experience! Brisbane for the WSI World Class Wellbeing in Sport conference ~ creating environments for performance and wellbeing at the incredible Callie Hotel. Thank you to Wellbeing Science Institute, Steve Johnson and Alison Johnson for putting on such a strong event within this space. To be in a room full of like minded people who all want elite levels of wellbeing supports for sporting organisations and it's people was literally a dream come true. Sharing knowledge and insights, raising questions and challenging the "norms" in elite sports was extremely thought provoking and inspiring. Some incredible panelists from a range of sports and from across the globe sharing game changing information for the elite sport context. Not to mention meeting some of my online cohort friends face to face and being able to share in the experience and catch up on our experiences in the space. Ross Ashcroft Fraser Harrison Dale Quartey Toby Nolan. My 5 Key take aways... 1. Know/Focus on the person before the athlete 2. Connection and trust is critical 3. It takes a village but it can start with us 4. Taking athletes and elite staff to a level where they are autonomous in their wellbeing and wellbeing decisions is the ultimate goal 5. You can't have long term performance without wellbeing ... and many more 👏🏼

I’ll be honest. 8 years ago when someone first approached me to take a look at this brand and the opportunity I turned away and fast. But 3 years later I decided to go in with eyes wide open and really listen to what aligning with this brand could do for me. If you follow me on any of my social platforms you know how much this brand and these products changed my life but what you may not know is the number of people around the world that have also been surprised by what this opportunity truly has to offer. And if you’ve only ever heard the name and/or read some bad google reviews of people who gave themselves a hot minute to “try” something they thought would make them money overnight then respectfully, I ask you to take a minute and listen to this. Lawyers, doctors, nurses, emts, yogis, Harvard business graduates, stay at home moms, financial executives, trainers, coaches, athletes, ad executives, and everyone in between. Opportunity is what you make it. And this one is an incredible vehicle for change. In so many ways. I’m grateful to be aligned with a 44 year old legacy brand, Certified B Corp leader in the industry that has allowed me to carve out my own path. Our next BBWP team member to accept the Total Wellness Challenge is Kristen Lemesevski, BBWP Chief Operating Officer! We asked Kristen, “If I handed you an envelope with $100 in it, how would you use it to invest in your wellness?” She accepted the challenge and this is what she shared: “When I was presented with the challenge of using $100 toward my total wellness journey, I decided to use the money to help revamp my nontoxic lifestyle. It is important to me to replace my everyday products with nontoxic solutions, which can be overwhelming and take time! I used this opportunity to switch from generic household cleaning products to Branch Basics. Yes, and another huge take away was the unveiling of the global wellness economy pie chart showing the total global wellness economy now at 5.6 trillion. Wellness tourism and wellness real estate are estimated as the fastest growing sectors with an increase of 17% annually. Wellness Tourism is forecasted to be at 800 billion be the end of 2023 and 1.4 trillion by 2027!
