Then and Now... Two years ago, we held the first Ministerial Advisory Group meeting in Townsville and yesterday we returned back to where it all started. The Ministerial Advisory Group is Action 1 in the #QueenslandResourcesIndustryDevelopmentPlan. The remit of the group is to monitor, guide, and advise both government and industry on the implementation of the actions and commitments outlined in the plan. Fast forward through Mount Isa, Mackay and Dalby, and add an expanded remit that also now includes both QRIDP and the Queensland Critical Minerals Strategy, and this group has become a pivotal compass for designing future solutions. Yesterday we debated, ideated and shared experiences around some big topics including a future workforce, decarbonisation and attracting investment in the sector. These engagements always produce meaningful, productive discussions which are so vital in advancing Queensland’s great resources industry. #governmentandindustrycollaboration Department of Resources (Queensland) | Warwick Agnew | Shaun Ferris | Queensland Resources Council | Australian Energy Producers | AMEC (Association of Mining and Exploration Companies) | AusIMM | Critical Minerals Association Australia

Joey Kaiser & I look like a pair of blue-shirted bookends lurking at either end of the backrow!
