We are constantly striving to optimize the use and consumption of our materials. ♻️ For molybdenum, 32% of the material used is currently collected at the end of the product life cycle and reused in our production. More than 99% of the molybdenum scrap is carefully separated during production and then goes to the steel industry for reuse as a high-value alloying element. Cerbras, a national reference in the porcelain and ceramic coatings segment and present in the market for over 30 years, is an example in the industry recognized for its environmental, social, and corporate practices. Cerbras adopts various #sustainable practices that ensure product quality and reduce environmental impacts and as such, has gained the ESG-FIEC seal. Among these activities, the reuse of water from the production process stands out, as it operates in a closed loop: after use, it is sent to the treatment plant and returns to use in the production process. Additionally, Cerbras is a pioneer in Brazil in the use of #Biogas, one of the cleanest energy sources available today. It is also worth noting that Cerbras reintegrates manufacturing residues into the production cycle, such as uncontaminated clay powder and ceramic shards, as well as residues from the processing of granite from third parties, thus contributing to the circular #economy. These sustainable practices lead to a reduction in environmental and social impacts, while turning the production process more efficient and allowing for further positive recognition for the business. The Dresden Packaging Days were once again excellently organised by the team from the German Packaging Institute (Deutsches Verpackungsinstitut e. V. ). The presentations and topics were extremely topical and precise. Leopold Werdich (TUBEX), Oliver Glitzner (NEUMAN ALUMINIUM) and Andreas Reissner (PreZero Pyral GmbH) took part in the event. The presentations confirmed the strategy of the partnership between TUBEX, Neuman and PreZero Pyral. The Green Deal and the circular economy have long been identified as important topics at TUBEX, Neuman and PreZero Pyral. How does the partnership between TUBEX, Neuman Aluminium and PreZero Pyral contribute to the circular economy? PreZero Pyral recycles household aluminium waste from the Yellow Bag, which is then delivered to Neuman Aluminium for further processing. Neuman uses this material (Pyralu) to produce the slug alloy Neucan 3.1 with real PCR®, patented by TUBEX and Neuman Aluminum. TUBEX uses this material to produce aluminium aerosol cans that can be recycled, creating a closed loop. Circular economy at its best. #tubex_rangendingen #aluminium #aerosolcans #sustainablity #circulareconomy #closedloop
