How does a home embody the character of the context? Immersed in the enchanting allure of nature, Western Valley House stands as a testament to the artistry inspired by natural elements. Every aspect, from the choice of materials to the meticulous detailing, reflects a deep reverence for the inherent beauty of the environment. The design harmoniously integrates spaces that blend privacy with openness, fostering an intimate connection with the surrounding landscape. Stretching gracefully from north to south, the structure captures breathtaking western vistas, influencing its name, 'Western Valley Home,' and infusing it with a sense of tranquility and wonder. Thoughtfully landscaped gardens and indoor spaces create a sanctuary inviting relaxation and inspiration. Moreover, the innovative facade enhances the aesthetic appeal and underscores the commitment to sustainability, ensuring that this home not only respects but also preserves the natural environment it celebrates. 🏢 Beaulieu: Harmony between Demolition and Conservation   Atenor and AG Real Estate in collaboration with the BMA are delighted to present a real estate initiative designed by a2o, VELD and Kollektif Landscape for their project Beaulieu. This challenging development for residential housing balances demolition and preservation. 💡 The southern bays of the building retain the original architectural elements, while the northern bays benefit from new openings and volumes. The atrium is transformed into an interior street. Vis-à-vis between dwellings is avoided thanks to an ingenious double orientation.   💡The residential typologies are diversified, with adaptable programming for flats, offices, and co-living spaces.   💡The building's post-modern architecture has been reinterpreted with brick accents, giving it an attractive residential character. A large bicycle storage area on the ground floor provides easy access to the future urban boulevard.   This development is highly praised for its coherent integration of constraints and its adaptive reuse approach. Unveiling “Shivalaya,” where architecture converses with the divine. Nestled in Nandurbar, this 1080 sq ft bungalow transcends its spatial limits, expressing the sacred ‘Shiva Lingam’ through its curvilinear form. Clad in mint stone, the facade reflects the purity and resilience associated with Lord Shiva, while the stone louvers provide a rhythmic interplay of light and shadow, crafting a serene ambience within. Every curve is intentional, contributing to the dialogue between the celestial and the earthly. In the tradition of Foster’s belief in ‘doing more with less,’ “Shivalaya” stands as an emblem of sustainability — its terraced gardens and integrated greenery invite nature into urban living spaces.
