When looking at ways to make meaningful change within Arizona’s child welfare system, collaborators within Together for Arizona recognized that family navigation was a critical piece to strengthening families. The Strong Family Toolkit is an improvement strategy that emerged from the Family Navigation Action Team. This team's goal is to enhance the Strengthening Families Protective Factors within families by fostering better collaboration among resource providers and empowering families to take ownership of their support services, thereby promoting a culture of seeking help when needed.
