This cable consists of ultra-low loss standard single-mode fiber, hollow-core fiber, multi-core fiber, and sensing-enhanced fiber. We will show that the cable is able to support high-capacity data transport, low latency time-sensitive services, and highly sensitive distributed fiber sensing functions simultaneously by assigning tasks to appropriate fiber in the cable. The article “Evaluation of the Interference Performance of FMCW Radar Sensors in Dense Indoor Environments” was published in the IEEE Access journal. Frequency-modulated continuous-wave (#FMCW) radars are becoming increasingly important in industrial applications due to their low cost, simple signal processing, and high resolution. Sensor integration in networks is a feature to be implemented by the sixth generation of wireless mobile networks (#6G). This paper investigates the interference behavior of #FMCW radar sensors in a dense indoor scenario. In these environments, the reliability of the sensor system plays an important role, and disruption can have critical consequences, such as not recognizing a target, triggering a false alarm, or completely failing the sensor. In this paper, the application of #integrated #access and #backhaul (#IAB) technique in #millimeter-#wave (#mmWave) #cell-#free (#CF) massive #MIMO systems is investigated. The access and backhaul links share a frequency spectrum in the mmWave bands, and in both, #hybrid #beamforming techniques are adopted for signal transmission. The bandwidth allocation (division) parameter between the two link types as well as the beamforming matrices are optimized to maximize the end-to-end data rate. New 6G-NTN paper was presented at the EuCNC & 6G Summit 2024 in Antwerp during the Session “Emerging Use Cases” chaired by Ahmad Nimr. The paper “Emerging Advancements in 6G NTN Radio Access Technologies: An Overview” was developed within the context of WP4 ‘6G NTN Radio Access Technologies’ led by Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC). The paper explores various challenges faced by Radio Access Technologies (#RATs) in #6G Non-Terrestrial Networks (#NTN) and proposes potential advancements to address these issues. Key areas of focus include improvements in Radio Resource Management (RRM), spectral coexistence between terrestrial and non-terrestrial components, and flexible waveform design solutions. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐛-3𝐆𝐇𝐳 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐫 5𝐆 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝   FDD technology at sub-3GHz frequency bands is set to play a critical role as 5G Advanced is rolled out over the next few years. To fully leverage the opportunities offered by 5G Advanced, it is imperative that operators maximise their existing FDD sub-3GHz spectrum assets in order to ensure seamless coverage across urban, suburban and rural regions. Not only will this provide an enhanced user experience for customers, it will also enable operators to offer a range of new high-data, low-latency services with guaranteed service levels across their entire network footprint. As less spectrum is available at sub-3GHz, however, operators will need to boost the spectrum efficiencies of their RAN equipment at these FDD frequencies. In practice, this will involve investing in the latest, advanced massive MIMO radios, which offer significant spectral efficiency gains compared to conventional radios.
