Graduation everywhere 🎓 is not for the faint hearted. It requires finesse, commitment, efficiency, effectiveness, self drive, etc. As Challenge Fund for Youth Employment, we are proud of the Private sector implementing partners (businesses and NGOs) that have graduated out of our funding program this week. Woord en Daad Marula Creative Agency Balloon Ventures Light for the World Uganda As the initial institutions that formed our first global CFYE call for solutions that kicked off in Uganda in 2019, and received our grant funding, they have given us all lessons - the good, bad, ugly that we are all proud of. Together they have helped us create, match and improve jobs for young people in the Agricultural, inclusion, financial services and organic waste sectors in Uganda. We couldn't have been more proud of the successes we have achieved together. This week, as we convened these and all our other partners alongside other public and private sector players in a "celebrate, learn and connect event", we challenged each other to learn through: 💡Break out sessions 💡Panel discussions with Mathew Rupanga kyateka mondo Martha Clara Nakato Maxima Nsimenta Md. Arafat Hossain 💡Key note by Dr. Maggie Kigozi and 💡Sublime closing remarks by Joost Van Ettro So that our IPs can scale up, stay up, and continue with momentum needed in a dynamic business environment to sustain gains and innovations as they create, match and improve jobs for young people in Uganda - our reason for existence. Now that we are into our 6th call for solutions, we are hopeful for more successful graduations as these mean more jobs created for young people.
