#latestactivities Global Society Institute kicks off education initiative On November 15, 2023, Global Society Institute took a step toward educational empowerment in Tarifa. Working closely with Almadraba High School, the institute conducted a survey among students aged sixteen to eighteen. The goal was to understand their aspirations, feelings about academic and career choices, and preferences for non-formal education. The gathered insights will guide future projects to address local youth needs. Following the survey, Global Society Institute engaged with the students to discuss their responses and introduce them to non-formal education opportunities funded by the European Commission. Educator Rea Fraser presented information on three EU programs—Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps, and Discover EU. The focus was on the potential of intercultural learning and non-formal education to empower young individuals making crucial decisions about their futures.
