The ribbon has been cut! ✂️ We’re thrilled to facilitate the ACCIONA Aldoga Farm Project with more than 2,500 containers of equipment delivered to the Port of Gladstone. We are proud to support regional trade in Central Queensland thanks to our strong partnership with global shipping line ANL – providing industries with container services that can connect their produce with markets around the world. It’s just one way our container trade is helping create a new energy landscape whilst building on existing trade.

They were here on a 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁-𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿 visiting the Danish water utilities HOFOR and Novafos as well as a number of companies including AVK. Michael Ramlau-Hansen from AVK Holding introduced them to AVK, our history and our products. He also introduced them to the LEAKman project – an integrated leakage management solution to bring down NRW levels. In addition, Business Development Director in AVK Smart Water, Gerner Knudsen presented our AVK Smart Water solutions. There was also a good dialogue about how the American water utilities looks at the digitalization of the water distribution network. The delegation was also shown around in our Showroom and the exhibition on AVK SMART products at AVK International. Thank you all for visiting us Austin Water, Bay Area Water Supply And Conservation Agency 𝗕𝗔𝗪𝗦𝗖𝗔 City of Pflugerville, Texas, EBMUD, Aqua Water Supply Corporation, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, Helix Water District, Golden State Water Company, California American Water, Kamstrup North America, Erhvervshus Midtjylland, Niels Bech Laursen, Joe Ball, The Trade Council of Denmark in North America - Energy and Environment Hans Peter Kyk And thank you to Rosa Marie Mathiasen and Lars Ravnborg for leading the team. The tour was arranged by the The Water Technology Alliance (WTA) program under the The Trade Council in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. The purpose of 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗪𝗧𝗔) is knowledge sharing between the North American and Danish water industry to promote the exchange of views and experiences within the water and wastewater field. It is a collaboration between American utilities and authorities and Danish utilities and companies. The collaboration originates in an agreement between the Californian state government and the Danish government, which was signed in 2016. Both 𝗔𝗩𝗞 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔/𝗦 and American AVK Company actively participate in this collaboration, where we contribute with knowledge about our role in relation to the Danish water supply and wastewater management. These inputs are then translated into American terms, with American AVK playing the major role. This collaboration has lifted the AVK brand significantly on the American market 💙 #ExpectAVK #AVKgroup #cooperation #partnership #AVKSmartWater

CCO Spot Ship | Top 100 Inspirational Females of Ocean & Energy | Maritime Commentator - digitalisation, decarbonisation, commodities
#Scotland is definitely famous for Tartan Bagpipes Loch Ness Whisky Highlands And a couple more things. We don’t often hear about it’s strong connection to the maritime industry. And yet, here we go. Scotland is a proud maritime nation. The country’s seas, coasts and islands are an important part of national identity, highly contributing to creating/sustaining jobs and opportunities locally, and internationally. The unique mix of ownership models and a stable development framework has enabled great successes over the years: 2022 numbers revealed a £2.2 billion in economic activity and 85,000 jobs. The Scottish maritime sector has shown great leadership in the development of new technologies, with hybrid and battery-operated ferries already in service, and the Scottish oil, gas and renewables industries leading the way in helping meet the UK’s energy needs with cleaner, greener energy. With a large proportion of employment in the Marine Oil and Gas activities concentrated in Scotland, it is the largest industry within the Scottish Maritime Sector in terms of economic activity. Particularly, In 2021, the United Kingdom was the second largest producer of natural gas, petroleum + products in OECD Europe and its offshore renewables sector is the second largest in the world. The vast majority of this industry is based in waters around the Scottish coast. Spot Ship too feels part of this legacy, and wants to shine a light on not only the significance of Scotland to shipping and of Shipping to Scotland, but also on the current and potential value of the #Offshore sector. For this reason, we have decided to launch our first #IE week event in Tartan theme, during which we will make an exciting announcement about our next product release. 28th February - stay tuned!

Today and tomorrow, the Green Inland Ports project team (Roy van den Berg, Henrik Armbrecht, Ioanna Kourounioti, Khalid Tachi, Laura Unt, Leïla Morais Nkunku and myself) will present results from our project during the MAGPIE Port Citizen Workshop in Wesel. These two projects - though different in size and background - have great potential for cooperation and synergies. I am looking forward to hearing about the direction and results of MAGPIE today, specifically the lessons learnt from the example of the #LOG4NRW project aiming to shift freight van road to barges. Tomorrow, our project team will present results from the Green Inland Ports project. Among others, we will present a tool to establish a quantified environmental benchmark for inland ports and the results of a comprehensive analysis to determine the roll-out potential for urban and short-range freight IWT. This workshop provides us a platform to present results from the first phase of the project. It is also the kick-off for the second phase of the project in which our team will develop Environmental and Sustainable Management Systems to support inland ports in their crucial role to enable the green transition as multimodal hubs. We are looking forward to working with ambitious ports in 2025 on the implementation of these systems, and we will be holding discussions in the coming days and weeks to identify the key needs of inland ports regarding such systems and tools. 🌱 Revolutionary Results with ReBuSch Technology at Our Pilot Farm in Szentes, Hungary! 🌱 We recently conducted an operational-scale test at a farm in Szentes, Hungary, where we applied the ReWater component of the ReBuSch technology as early as the seedling stage. The results were truly remarkable! 🌟 From the moment the plants were transplanted, the difference became visibly striking: - The treated plants showed faster and more vigorous growth, developing larger, taller structures with more leaves and stronger overall health. - They started flowering nearly a week earlier than the control group, with a significantly higher fruit set during blooming. - The treated plants also endured the transplant stress much better, maintaining resilience throughout. By maintaining ReWater irrigation after transplanting, we also introduced the E-16 ReBuSch plant conditioner, which proved that the combination of ReWater and E-16 has a compounding positive impact on plant vitality. 🌿✨ An outstanding result was the increase in the number of first-class produce, visibly contributing to higher yields and increased revenue for farmers using ReBuSch technology. Additionally, "nutrient-related plant diseases" were radically reduced. For instance, the symptoms of calcium deficiency, which can severely impact fruit quality, dropped to near statistical insignificance—a breakthrough we hadn’t seen in years! 📽️ Check out the results in action—watch the full video on YouTube linked below! 👇 https://lnkd.in/dCeguvbG #ReBuSch #AgriTech #SustainableFarming #Innovation #PlantHealth #ReWater #E16 #HigherYields #FarmersFirst #FarmSuccess #EIT Zsolt Balla
