If you know the potential that someone has and they are not performing (they are lost and not themselves). Don’t remind them first about their responsibilities and the consequences if they fail to perform. First remind them again of who they are. Fear will get you a short-term response of fight or flight. A bit of time, thought and understanding will build you a reputation and solidly bonded team.

Your cannot survive fighting your enemies and allies. Don’t loose a valuable team member because you have to be right about every tiny aspect of a project. Let the small things go and give a little control to others on the team as long as it does not affect the main objective. You do not have to have complete control or be the only one with the answers. People will resect you more and stay loyal this way.

Navy Seals assessment consists of two fundamentals: Trust and Performance. Trust is rarely assessed in a structured way by large companies. Yet it is such an important fundamental for a successful team! Indeed, there are difficulties in assessing trust in a structured way! But if there is no trust, it is extremely difficult to deliver long-term results. Great story!

Lucky Live whatever this phrase means, is a kind of pulling motivation to all species, that used to avoid confrontation with dangerous situations. As we normally can't negotiate in hurried stressful times on a rational way the fear of failure is a sword in our neck. Why is it in our neck? It's this 'slagline' in the neck where the mammal's mother hold its sons and daughters by using the teeth to transport them for escaping into safer places. And it's this very same neck which will be focused by the Lion to hunt and fetch the running Antilope. In the neck we are thrilled or saved, caught or captured. Fate, Intuition and resilience are three tough guys to take residence in our neck. Which voice would you listen to first, when attention is proceeded or acting needed? Then whose advice helps to resist any panic by calculating the real facts and who's the one in a moment later to state the necessary decision for progress, transformation and innovation? It's me to look positively forward and myself to save my neck. We are a bloody good team. Lucky indeed.
