5moOne important point worth mentioning is that along with water scarcity we have, and have had for some time, water pollution. Landfill in small communities can be a problem - causing water pollution though leachate. Along with food and other waste items, today around 15,000 used hotel mattresses will go to landfill with each one taking between 80 and 120 years to decompose. Tomorrow will also be 15,000 and the next day. 2025 - estimate 17,000 every day.
