A group of employees from our NWI Wichita site rolled up their sleeves to help Simply Hygiene, a remarkable local organization dedicated to supporting our community by providing free hygiene products to those in need. As they prepared for their largest distribution yet, we were honored to volunteer and contribute to their mission. With over 77,000 people served monthly across 174 schools and 78 organizations, we're proud to play a role in uplifting our community through this vital initiative! #nwi #givingback

Mark your calendar for an event that goes beyond awareness– a commitment to care. Join us on Saturday, December 9th, from 10am-12pm at our Sister Innocent Conference Center or virtually via Teams, for an empowering education series. In this session, we'll unravel the complexities of domestic violence– learning to recognize not just the physical and behavioral signs but gaining insights into the abuser's need for power and control. At Holy Cross Health, we're dedicated to protecting a caring for our patients. This commitment is why discussions on topics like domestic violence are not just essential but imperative. We believe that understanding and action go hand in hand. Together, lets create a safer and more informed environment. #HolyCross #HolyCrossHealth #TrinityHealth #Hospital #HealthCare #HealthCareAdvocacy #NonProfit #PublicHealth #CommunityHealth #CommunityEngagement #PatientCare #Medical #Medicine #Dometicviolence #Domestiveviolenceawareness #BreaktheSilence #HealthandWellness #Seminar

Is it time we start insisting on demonstrable outcomes against government grants? In the last 10 years we have seen enormous amounts of taxpayer funds distributed to the Aged Care sector in the way of commonwealth and state grants yet little improvement or positive outcomes have materialised. There is also a significant conflict of interest in a number of the transactions. $15 million provided to a culturally specific aged care provider in Sydney to build a nursing home that has never been built. $5 million given to a private company to sell their pain assessment device. $5 million to a celebrity cook. Millions provided to one company who then pays their sister company to run conferences (so effectively paying itself). Millions provided to build more aged care facilities yet we are told building applications have plummeted. #agedcare #agedcareaustralia

🚑 The healthcare challenges in Ireland, particularly within emergency services, are becoming increasingly urgent. Overcrowded A&E departments, limited resources, and extended waiting times are pushing both patients and healthcare professionals to their limits. In rural areas, the situation is even more critical, with long distances to the nearest hospitals exacerbating emergency response times. According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO), 2022 saw nearly 121,000 patients left on trolleys waiting for treatment. 🚨 These staggering figures highlight the pressing need for greater joined up thinking about Health care delivery. At Gewardz Health we are actively collaborating with communities, businesses, sports clubs, NGOs, and charities to support them with health care initiatives to reduce the burden on existing services. 🏥 While our frontline workers demonstrate incredible resilience, they need all the support we can muster. By working together, we can drive change and guarantee that every individual receives the immediate care they deserve. 💚 Reach out today to see how we can collaborate and strengthen our healthcare system together. #IrelandHealthcare #EmergencyServices #HealthcareChallenges

More than one third of older Australians live in rural and remote locations, yet when they need to access an aged care home, it often means being separated from their communities and loved ones. Regional providers like not-for-profit Whiddon know it takes more than goodwill to keep operating in regional areas, and more support is needed to keep families together. “One key strategy to better care for our regional communities is a multi-pronged approach between state and federal governments, working cooperatively with providers towards a collective goal,” writes Whiddon CEO Chris Mamarelis in Aged Care Today. Fintech and Insurtech innovation has never been more important to Australia's retirement system. With the focus on increased user-pay models, our new Equity Preservation Mortgage will quickly come to play a key role for the majority of Retirees who are asset-rich. It delivers retirement income and funding for in-home services and aged care, with no depletion of home equity. Now that's a game-changer that delivers far better financial outcomes to all stakeholders instead of forcing seniors into defective reverse mortgages.
