🤝 Exciting news in the football sponsorship landscape as Red Bull partners with Club Atlético de Madrid until 2027, marking their first venture into Spanish football. Reports suggest Atletico Madrid won this deal over FC Barcelona, demonstrating their growing commercial appeal after their busy summer transfer window in 2024. 📈 The timing couldn't be better - Atletico are currently on a 14-game winning run across all competitions and are sitting at the top of the LALIGA table. This partnership aligns perfectly with both brands' reputation for dynamism and resilience. 🏟️ The deal will enhance fan experience at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano through events and product availability. It adds to Atletico's commercial portfolio, joining their existing €40m per season partnership with Riyadh Air | طيران الرياض , their current front-of-shirt and stadium sponsor. 🌍 For Red Bull, this expands their football presence into Spain, complementing their ownership of other football clubs like RB Leipzig, FC Red Bull Salzburg, and New York Red Bulls. For Atletico, it brings not just significant revenue but also partnerships with a brand known for innovative sports marketing and event activation. #SportsBusiness #Football #LaLiga #Sponsorship #AtleticoMadrid #RedBull

Video feedback on the national team "The Swiss rotations were excellent," said Avram Grant, and the Image (top right) shows Aebischer again in a central position, with Ricardo Rodriguez, the left-sided centre-back, out on the wing. With their rotations, Switzerland gained superiority in the centre of the pitch, where the three midfielders in Italy's 4-3-3 formation were outnumbered, particularly when Breel Embolo dropped deep into midfield. Crucially, the Swiss players were always available to receive between the lines. In the 2022/23 season, Real Madrid C.F. emerged as the club with the highest operating revenue globally, reaching €830 million and surpassing Manchester City FC. The newly crowned Spanish and UCL champions recorded a 16% revenue growth (+30% compared to 2020/21). Furthermore, according to the club estimates, the new Santiago Bernabéu stadium is expected to significantly boost Real Madrid’s matchday revenue, potentially reaching €300 million. Combined with the new, financially more lucrative formats of the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup, and the potential commercial impact of the signing of Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid are favored in the race to €1 billion in operating revenues. #RealMadrid #Revenue #footballbusiness

9% YoY growth, ~$205M per year from shirt sponsorship. $6.6b Market value 😳 One of the latest example of how Real Madrid C.F. is getting top talent and getting positive ROI in a matter of months, Arda Güler. Young talent scouted from Fenerbahçe SK acquired for ~€21M less than one year ago and already (allegedly) receiving offers from Arsenal ~€45M, from Manchester United ~€51M to name a few, these offers are expected to go up. It’s these types of transfers that also add on to player transfer income but more importantly the scouting ability and talent is what brings the club victory on and off the field. U may think €20-€30M profit is nothing, that’s where u may go wrong because these types of transfers go beyond the €€€, it brings victory in varies ways that gives the club more leverage for future strategic planning. ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

🔵 City Football Group (CFG) who owns multiple clubs, including Girona FC and Manchester City FC, will need to reduce its stake in one of the two clubs if they want both to participate in the Champions League next season. 🤝 UEFA has presented the investment group with 2 options that would enable both sides to participate in next season’s UCL: 🔹 CFG can either transfer all shares in either Man City or Girona to an independent trust managed by a panel appointed by UEFA. 🔹 CFG can also sell shares to a separate third party that reduces one ownership stake to below 30%. The investment group currently owns 100% of Man City and 47% of Girona. ⏳ CFG must comply by June 3 to avoid possible penalties, which include one club being put into the Europa League. #mancity #girona #cityfootballgroup #football #uefa
