The GNU Statement of Intent is notable for its focus on redress, land reform, industrialisation, transformation, economic development, building state capacity, ending inequality and protecting workers rights. Most of this, of course, is drawn from the ANC rhetoric which has been criticized in the past as "Marxist", "Soviet style economics", and "Statism". In the handwringing that must have taken place behind the scenes, the DA seems to have done most of the "compromising". For us, as the died-in-the-wool constitutionalists, we can take a leaf from Land Matters and A Country of 2 Agricultures to implement the transformation we have always asked for, but under the Constitution.
