Adoptees should not only aim to find their biofamily and roots, agree or desagree for adoption procedures and rights, but also try to comfort younger adoptees and families, help families before and after adoption understand the trauma their children faced and still have to face till they are healed. Tell people why adoption is a trauma and especially when babies and young children have to stay in residential care away from family environment. Then its worth for adoptees to tell about their stories and not make falce impression about them. We all adoptees are obliged to make clear to the community that adoption has many difficult stages and not pretent that adoption stories have a happy ending. End of the myth, it needs a lot of effort and knowledge to make things work. We all are not victims but survivors. Dear Adoptees support our organization to help families and children. Every child deserves to be a part of a loving and stable home, but many children don’t have a place where they’re safe and cared for. Adoption creates opportunities for families to welcome children into their home and provide them with the environment they need to thrive. International and domestic adoption can be an incredible way for a family to grow, and for a child to find a safe and loving permanent home where they can grow too. Though adoption can be a life-changing experience for all that are involved, it can also be a challenging endeavor that involves an overwhelming amount of paperwork and loopholes. It’s important to have processes that keep children and families safe, and it’s also encouraging to see countries making changes in their procedures to create more opportunities for children to be adopted. Today on the blog, we're sharing more about the countries that are simplifying their adoption processes to remove unnecessary roadblocks and expediting the process for adoptive parents. The greatest need in adoption today is families for older children and sibling groups. Across the U.S., more than 100,000 children are waiting for a permanent home—and many have been waiting two or more years. The wait gets harder and less hopeful as they get older. If we understand adoption to be about giving a home to a child who needs one, that means families need to be ready and willing to adapt so they can fully welcome a child as they are. For parents, this often means adjusting parenting styles, house rules, and expectations—and that’s not an easy ask. Seven years into their adoption journey, Aaron and Jeannette share how parenting older children has changed them and their expectations. More than 100,000 children in foster care are waiting for an adoptive family. Visit https://lnkd.in/gyDwYcVW to learn how you can help.

Adoption is a process which, while it's purpose is to give a child or children a safe space, a family, it also must be acknowledged that they experience losses before, during and after adoption. So as adopters we need to make sure that we maximise our children's connections both to birth family, new family and friends. How do you build connections for your child?

🌍 A Simple Idea, A Powerful Change 🌍 Imagine a world where every child finds love, and every elder experiences the warmth of a family. What if orphanages and old age homes were combined? Innocent children could receive the love and care they need from those who have a lifetime of experience to offer. And our elders, who often feel forgotten, could rediscover the joy of parenthood with children who bring light into their lives. This idea isn't just about filling a gap—it's about creating a bond that transcends generations. 🤔 What do you think? Could this be a solution to two of society’s biggest challenges ? Let’s discuss how we can make a difference together. Share your thoughts and spread this idea if it resonates with you! 🌟 #FamilyForAll #BridgingGenerations #SocialChange #LoveAndCare #ElderlyCare #OrphanCare #LinkedInFamily

Learned that the Project 2025 proposes adoptions will only be for a household where there is a mother and father. So many children will be left behind in addition to so many good and loving homes will be denied growing their famillies through adoption to children in need of loving and forever homes. What are your thoughts?
