ORR Vice President of Programs Chris Perkins has been named Adjunct Faculty for the University of Denver Leadership in the Outdoor Recreation Industry (LORI) Program, where he will teach a course starting next week titled, "Public Policy Challenges for the Outdoor Industry." Perkins, who previously worked in environmental education at Teton Science Schools and was named Teaching Fellow of the Year at Yale School of the Environment, will bring his educational talents to DU to explore the myriad public policies that affect the outdoor industry, including land use, environmental, forestry, and other public policies that define the environment in which the industry operates. The LORI program, developed in partnership with The VF Foundation, equips students with real-world business and leadership skills specific to the $1.1 trillion outdoor recreation economy.
