I am thrilled to join my colleagues in supporting 16 cultural projects driving growth through cross-#innovation, blending challenges with solutions for new, innovative proposals. Throughout this magnificent collaboration with the Gobierno de Canarias, ICDC | Instituto Canario de Desarrollo Cultural: Cristóbal de la Rosa Croissier, Susana Pallarés, Silvia BARONA SANTIAGO, Carla Martín Franchy; in collaboration with the Universitat de Barcelona: Tino Carreño Morales, Lluís Bonet, Giada Calvano, Montserrat Pareja-Eastaway, @me; and Fondazione Fitzcarraldo: Martina Beria, alessandra gariboldi, we want to contribute our vision so that these wonderful islands position themselves as a reference node in the network of creative ecosystems in #Spain. Business & Human Rights Accelerator är ett utbildningsprogram där deltagare får vägledning, nätverksmöjligheter och lokalt stöd för att gå från engagemang till handling för mänskliga rättigheter, bland annat genom att etablera en systematisk due diligence-process för mänskliga rättigheter. Deltagarna samlades idag för att diskutera hur långt de har kommit med att identifiera och prioritera potentiella risker kring mänskliga rättigheter i deras verksamheter och värdekedjor, vilket är ett första steg i processen för #HumanRightsDueDiligence. ✨🍾 We say Thank You for an amazing 2023! 🥂✨ This year was an exciting journey for #femella. We started into 2023 with a team of 5 Board Members and 40+ femellas. In March, we welcomed 4 new Board Members, and with the additional woman power, developed our sponsoring and communications strategy. 🚀 In the following months, we released our new website, refined our branding, published 11 newsletters, 231 Social Media posts, and expanded our LinkedIn presence from 34 to 1000+ followers. 1K - this is not just a number for us, but an affirmation that what we do resonates with a diverse audience of varying ages and backgrounds. 👫 🌱🌳 We are thrilled that our work and mission are met with such enthusiasm, and that this is vividly reflected in the growth of our community. Throughout 2023, our member base increased by 300% to 160+ motivated and ambitious young women from different fields and Universities. More members also meant more work, leading us to enlargen our team by 19 committee members and a new Head of Community & Collaborations. 🤝 The enthusiasm about our community was also sensed by our sponsorship team. We built strong partnerships with McKinsey & Company, UBS, Promotion-Tools AG, and #Honold - and are excited to announce more sponsors soon! 🌟 In alignment with our three pillars, we are steadily learning, expanding our network, and growing. This year, we co-hosted 13 Learn events with companies such as AbbVie, Google, and IWC Schaffhausen. We organised 10 Connect events, spanning from our annual Kick-off to a visit at the Swiss House of Parliament and a Winter Après Ski Party. Moreover, we hosted our first public Grow event around the topic of “Women Over Time”, welcoming 150+ attendees. 🌍 🛫 In the last months, we have been working on our internationalization strategy. We recruited and onboarded a brand new Zurich Board that is excited to now start its work. In the meantime, our expansion to Copenhagen, London, and Munich is in full swing. 🙏 A lot has happened in 2023, so much that we struggled sticking to our agreed meeting durations. However, amidst the chaos, we learnt to organise our time and improve our internal communication. Navigating the learning opportunities of the year was possible because of the collaborative spirit within our team - and because we constantly went the #extramile. But also because we could count on the help of our amazing committee members, advisory board, sponsors and supporters. Thank you for being part of our community! 👵 Although we are now “retiring” from the Zurich Board, our work is far from done. We will keep shaping femella’s strategy and support our four hubs as the new femella Global team. We wish you a Happy New Year and can’t wait for what 2024 holds for femella. It’s a significant achievement, but the commitment from the municipality, business community, and education sector was tangible. When we work together, incredible things happen! 🎙️ Captivating Speakers: The lineup of speakers was top-notch. Kim Fausing, CEO of Danfoss, shared invaluable perspectives on innovation and sustainable growth. Brian Mikkelsen, CEO of Dansk Erhverv, challenged us to think bigger and bolder.
