What are they saying behind your back? The truth is, you have no control over what they will say. Even when you give your best, your best can bring out the insecurities in others. Question is, will you allow what they say dictate who you are? You see, even though I have been away for the last three weeks, I came back to hear, "Pam, you received this while you were gone." Each of us can create our own influence within a culture. I create advocacy by being the change my patients need and deserve. Guess what? When others see you do it, it's rare that they aren’t inspired and subsequently replicate it. I encourage other nurses to show up and be the change instead of waiting for change. Change what you can one patient, one day, one co-worker at a time. How to Be the Change: ✅Lead by Example: Show compassion and dedication in every patient interaction. ✅Support Your Colleagues:Encourage and uplift your fellow nurses, fostering a positive and collaborative environment. ✅Advocate for Patients: Stand up for your patients' needs and rights, ensuring they receive the best care possible. Remember… it’s not what they say about you, it’s what you say about you that will create the change that makes others say great things. What are you saying about yourself that is guiding your actions on a daily basis? #NurseAdvocacy #BeTheChange #HealthcareHero #nursesoflinkedin
