#PayNet was thrilled to host 25 young talents from Maybank X-celerate x Thriving Talents earlier this month! These bright minds from Malaysia, Vietnam, China, Indonesia, and Singapore were immersed in a day of learning and exploration. Our Chief People Officer, Shafenaz Farouk, kicked off the day with a warm welcome before taking the participants on a guided tour of our innovative Southpoint Office. The knowledge-sharing session, titled “Sustainable Tomorrow for Malaysia’s Financial Ecosystem,” delved into the cutting-edge technologies shaping our industry. Aloysius Kin Faa Chong, Head of Fraud & Projects, captivated the audience with insights on PayNet Secure & The National Fraud Portal, showcasing how AI, data, and policies are fortifying our financial landscape. Dr. Endry Lim Zhen Wen Lim, Chief of Staff, took the stage next, offering a deep dive into the evolution of payments. He highlighted our commitment to building a sustainable future and ensuring shared prosperity through each transaction. The day wrapped up with a lively fireside chat, where Aloysius Kin Faa Chong and Dr. Endry Lim Zhen Wen engaged in an interactive discussion moderated by Micheal Teoh from Thriving Talents. They explored the future of AI and the impact of the National Fraud Portal, PayNet Cambah, and PayNet Akar on Malaysia’s economy. We look forward to welcoming other ecosystem players as we continue to drive innovation with #aspiration and #grit.
