Office of the Provost: Afro-descendant Institute of Human Rights Love this. In order to take our place in America we must develop our infrastructure. This means we have to get to the point where a significant portion of our youth do not want to be rappers and b’s. Please excuse the reality of my language but it reflects the despair and distrust in a system that has been customarily abused by a disinterested Congress, court system, and its policing authorities. We must develop a way to change the continuity of letting the media, the Congress, and the corporations marginalize our children’s aspirations. We must get back to a point of self interest and the care for our communities. Thank you brother Robert for being a shining light in the darkness of our centuries old racial umbrage. Brother Robert I know you don’t and most of our people don’t realize that We must move into our new “Afrodescendant status”structure in the cities in which we live so that we can develop ourselves as free people must do. We must make the decisions on our education, housing, business, communications and transportation. It is not enough for a few of us to have viability in a system of racial preferences that has been perfected to marginalize the 98% of our wealth, education, and economy. Instead we must use our unique racial identity to encircle our infrastructure and make the significant decision on what our children learn, what our taxes must build, and how can we reach a point where there is minimum homeless, minimum crime, and minimum oppression. We must change what America has in store for us and develop our children by our example into the type of America we chose to live in.

A Hackathon can be described as a deep dive into the programming behind a business, where programmers and others come together to develop or build new software programs. According to Indeed, “Hackathons are events where computer programmers gather to develop new approaches to solving problems or completing large projects that require collaboration. During hackathons, participants look to introduce new techniques, standards or personal programming styles to progress on projects and develop solutions.” But it doesn’t always have to be about coding. When it comes to Business Hackathons, this type of event can be used to brainstorm, solve a challenge, or conduct a case study. It is simply a way for different business leaders to come together and help out fellow entrepreneurs. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐋𝐅 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤! Today we will be hosting our first ever Business Hackathon Event, which will allow our members to voice their biggest challenges and other members to provide solutions and step-by-step action plans that they can easily follow to advance on their entrepreneurial journey. 🌟 Excited to share my recent experience at the Code for Good 2024 hackathon organized by JPMorganChase 🌟 I had the privilege to participate in this prestigious event, where our team "404 Found" collaborated to tackle a real-world challenge presented by an NGO committed to improving access to higher education in rural areas. Together with seven talented individuals from across the country, we developed a robust web application using the MERN stack. Our solution focused on enhancing operational efficiency for the Foundation by automating data collection through integrated forms. A key innovation was the implementation of student and mentor dashboards, allowing mentors to seamlessly add courses that were dynamically displayed for students to choose from, revolutionizing the previous manual mapping process. I'm immensely grateful to our mentors: Lekhraj Varshney , Sofiya Rao, Mr. Pranav, and Ms. Archana, for their invaluable guidance throughout the hackathon. It was inspiring to collaborate with my team members: Aditya Gupta , Darshan Kotecha, Durgesh Singh, Khushi Garg, Rishabh Aggarwal and Shivam Maurya Participating in this event was not only a great learning experience but also a chance to contribute meaningfully to a cause I deeply care about. I had the opportunity to network with industry leaders, learn from tech experts, and make lasting connections. I was broke! So I went to MMI!😩 Now I am rich, wealthy & abundant! Had booked my tickets in Dec’23. But had to postpone it twice. For some other priorities. This time I was committed to go. Why? To rewire my programming. Especially with money. I was excited, curious & doubtful too. B'coz I borrowed the money for this. But somewhere I had hopes. Hopes that this will, open the blockages. open the opportunities. open doors for continuous money inflow. But I was wrong! It was completely a different experience. It was High Intensive 3 Day Activity! Not only removed the blockages, but also removed all limiting beliefs. Not just towards money, but also towards ourselves, others and the opportunities that come our way. Every moment spent before, during & after the event was AHA moments. 💪5 biggest breakthroughs which I personally experienced are; 1. Limiting belief of not having Networking Skills. Spoke to 30+ people. Clicked pics & exchanged numbers. Made some good friends. Had meaningful conversations. Explored some professional collaborations. 2. Limiting belief of not having Sales Skills. Not just spoke to people but also shared what I do. Why I do what I do and how it helps others. Shared stories of my past experiences & recent projects. Was able to talk about myself with confidence. 3. Home, Kid & Family cannot be managed without me. First time in 6 years I travelled all alone. Without my daughter or family. That too so far. I think they managed it well. Of course, with the support of the in-laws. 4. Learning from Thaddeus Lawrence is an achievement. This was my first event with an International Coach. Fortunate to have such a great start. He can be funny. He can be tough. He can be compassionate. He can be sarcastic. But surely, he’s the best in what he does. And no one can beat his memory. He recalls the name, dress colour & even where someone was sitting. Every time, every day, even in the crowd of 450 people. Also known as the 'Little Monk' he is truly amazing. 5. The world is not how we often think it is! It’s often an illusion that we create. I thought there’s no one I know there. How will I manage? Rather everyone was so open & helpful! All because of the values that we were aligned. The values, purpose & mission of Success Gyan! Everything was so well organised. Everyone was so approachable.
