🔥 Handling Deformation Under Fire 🔥 How should deformation in steel structures under fire be managed? Should strain adjustments use reduction factors of 0.2% instead of the usual 2.0%? 🤔 Or is there a better approach? Assuming that the deformation will be too large and adjusting the strain is often too conservative. Instead, we recommend evaluating the deflection directly in a fire situation. ✅ This method provides the most accurate picture of the structure’s behavior without adding unnecessary safety factors. The result is a calculation that more closely reflects the actual performance of the steel under fire conditions. 🔍💡 #Firecalculation #SteelStructures #StructuralDesign #Engineering #ConstructionIndustry

Fin indstilling.
