Great to see more analysis of workplace barriers happening to Indigenous workers. Number 8 is important and I believe it’s crucially missing from closing the gap. If you want the talent, cultural knowledge, ways of working, percentages of Indigenous employees, but no professional development/ transition opportunities for Indigenous people then you probably have quite a few if not all of these 10 truths not implemented. Proof is in the ones who stay loyal to businesses and organisations but never get raises and or promotions - I bet you know them if you look around.
