What appears to you as two players on the podium were three! It was me, my competitor, and my yet-to-come-to-our-world baby! (Nada shared on her Instagram account after the match) You may have heard the news about Nada Hafez. She did not win the Olympics, but she still won our hearts. This post is dedicated to praising her and giving her the applause she so rightly deserves for all the strength and courage she displayed by competing even at 7 months pregnant. Fencing is not just any sport. it's a physically demanding discipline that requires rigorous training, sharp focus, and the ability to think and react in milliseconds. It's a sport where every move counts and every decision is made in the blink of an eye. The demands are immense, even for the most seasoned athletes. Yet, Nada chose to step onto that piste, knowing full well the challenges she would face. Fencing can be unpredictable, with sudden movements and shifts in balance, made even more challenging by the changes her body was undergoing. But instead of stepping back, she leaned in, showing the world that pregnancy is not a limitation, but a testament to her strength. In a world where female athletes are often asked to choose between motherhood and their careers, Nada Hafez has shown us that it’s possible to embrace both. She didn’t just compete—she made a statement. She competed for herself, for her unborn child, and for every woman who’s been told she can’t have it all. Nada’s journey is a reminder that true strength goes beyond physical ability. It’s about determination, resilience, and the courage to face challenges head-on, no matter the odds. She has set an inspiring example for us all, proving that passion and perseverance can overcome any obstacle. So here’s to Nada Hafez 👏👏 An athlete, a mother, and an inspiration. She may not have taken home the gold, but she’s won something far more enduring: our admiration and respect. #Olympics #NadaHafez #BreakingBarriers #WomenEmpowerment #MotherhoodAndCareer

Children are our strength and not weakness. Yes we are vulnerable yet we are strong. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
