Major props to one of the giants of ResProp Management, Angela Aguilar, celebrating her five-year anniversary with our team!  👉 Angela is a standout leader in so many ways. Most importantly, she’s a servant leader – she’s always hyper-attentive to the needs of the teams she leads, and digs in to help them get the work done – never afraid to dive deep and help push things forward. 💥But Angela is also a fierce competitor.  Think about the affect Michael Jordan had on anyone who played on the same court–he elevated everyone’s game. On Michael’s court, you can't just show up and play–you come and give it your ALL. 👉 Same with Angela – when she commits to anything, it instantly motivates the team and suddenly they find a new gear to complete something that was previously unreachable. It’s a pleasure to work with you Angela – it’s been great fun (with a huge dose of HARD WORK) to build out ResProp with you.  Last word here – Angela’s work ethic is unmatched. You literally have to peel her away from her work. This passion is infectious and again, is something that motivates everyone around her. The memories are endless and only matched by the lessons learned. My teams in Lubbock, Amarillo and Clovis are the reason to celebrate these 4 years. You guys make the communities you serve even better. You provide care for so many beautiful souls. To celebrate these four years. Here are some lessons learned: 1. Most hard decisions are made easier when wearing adorable slippers. My favorite office nickname to date is slippers. 2- When encountering an intense situation don’t handle it in isolation. My team has great ideas, I just have to be intentional at asking good questions. If you feel like you are over-communicating. You are probably just now communicating enough. 3- Plan for fun and always have a pulse on your energy as a leader. I can be intense and I know that about myself so I schedule fun with my team. That looks different everyday and from team to team but that is really where I get to learn about them and they are the most important thing. 4- Protect the culture. It is the foundation of who we are and how we thrive. Here’s to the next year! The best is to come!

I joined Greenough Communications just over a year ago with the support of an amazingly talented leadership team of Christine Williamson, Jen Heady, Jessika Parry, and Kenneth Craig – and newly added, but I can’t imagine us without her – Nicole Murphy, and a vision. Together, we will make it a reality. I’m incredibly grateful - and honored - to follow in the footsteps of Phil Greenough. Over the last 25 years, he founded and led Greenough through several incredible inflection points across the #technology, #healthcare, and #energy industries and provided us with a proven playbook to tackle the ones yet to come. From Fortune 500 companies to the many startups, he was there penning new narratives and disrupting markets. His mark on the communications field and this agency is undeniable, and I look forward to continuing his legacy.   What’s next is still unwritten, but what I do know is we will: ➡ Have fun defining the “new rules” for agencies to live by. As Eleanor Hawkins recently said, the “challenger firms” will be the ones that have senior leaders who walk side-by-side with their clients, deliver the strategy, and generate the results vs. relying on those who are just cutting their teeth in the field. That model is broken. We are an agency of experienced, creative practitioners who love what we do and still get a high while doing it. It's not just about being on the team; it's a mindset that consistently revolves around our clients, focusing on how we can continuously enhance and deliver exceptional results. ➡ Be present. This remote world can be distracting, and it can feel monotonous. But collectively, we will be keeping each other focused and present.
