100 percent yes to this and in my opinion take it further… Watch someone outside of your department / key stage. Everyone should watch and learn from EYFS. Peer observation is the most powerful CPD and its free and readily available daily. It also promotes better community / professional relationships / dialogue 2024 - get out and use your non contacts, no matter the workload, stress, marking, prep…. it has so much value. #communitybuilding #cpd

Peer observations have worked wonders last term and has really built upon stronger relationships between the team. Can't stress enough how much the teaching and learning has developed and improved allowing for middle leadership to lead and feel empowered in the process.

It's a more than 2 way street also. Watching someone else helps you ...see students differently ... See different ages ... See different subjects ... And help the other teacher if they wish, to see things from another practitioners point of view!
